Mallory and Sean were the best part of the trip - they made us feel comfortable and then created a totally fun experience. I even found a selfie of Mallory on my phone - very funny! It was one of the best times We've had in a very long time and it was all because of the way Sean and Mallory took care of us.

Chateau Morrisette Winery and Restaurant is known for its quality Virginia wines, its scenic location along the Blue Ridge Parkway, its Black Dog Music Festivals and other special events, as well as its top-notch fine dining restaurant. The winery is open 7-days a week in season and Friday through Sunday during the winter months and offers wine tastings for $10 per person. The tasting includes a tour of our winery and a souvenir wine glass. Hours vary by day of the week. The Chateau Restaurant is open in season Wed-Thu 11-2, Fri - Sat 11-9, and Sun 11-4. Weekends only in the winter. Open for lunch everyday in October. Guests may purchase wine by the bottle or glass and spend time relaxing in our courtyard, in a private gazebo, or from our terrace overlooking the scenic New River Valley. Live entertainment is offered every Sunday afternoons, June through October and we invite guests to check our website for the many special events we produce throughout the year.
We always visit Chateau Morrisette Winery & Restaurant when we’re visiting our VA vacation home. We love the atmosphere, events, and the wine - especially if it’s served by Ray!

After reading the other reviews, we knew this was a place we had to check out. Thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent there but be prepared for the crowd if you go! I think everyone in the town of Floyd is in the Country Store on Friday nights! One thing I did not read in the other reviews is that it does cost $8 per person. The music was great, the people were friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed watching all of the clogging, two-stepping, and square dancing!

We are a Virginia winery focusing on Italian wines. We are located right off the Blue Ridge Parkway between mile markers 170 and 171. Live music is offered most Saturday afternoons and a schedule can be found our website. Enjoy cheese plates daily made with cheeses from a local dairy and pizzas are made to order in our outdoor brick oven on select days. Our Music Garden can be reserved for your private function. Enjoy the views and peaceful setting at our Villa along with your favorite glass of wine - it’s a taste of Tuscany in the Blue Ridge Mountains!
What a wonderful surprise! This winery specializes in Italian wines and even makes an amazing semi-sweet raspberry wine called "Raspberry Taxi". Lots of room to spread out on the grounds - some folks even brought their own chairs but we had no trouble finding a table and chairs. They offer a lovely charcouterie plate as well as brick oven pizzas. Really welcoming hosts and very good COVID precautions. Will definitely be ordering some wine online! Too good to pass upl

We love this thrift shop and have visited often over the years. The deals can't be beat. Great selection of items! One suggestion we would make is to please considering being open on a Wed. or Thurs.--it would mean the world to many of your buyers. We understand this shop is run only by volunteers and that hours are limited. But being open mid week for just one additional day would increase your revenue and put a smile on many faces!
