Mallory and Sean were the best part of the trip - they made us feel comfortable and then created a totally fun experience. I even found a selfie of Mallory on my phone - very funny! It was one of the best times We've had in a very long time and it was all because of the way Sean and Mallory took care of us.

After reading the other reviews, we knew this was a place we had to check out. Thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent there but be prepared for the crowd if you go! I think everyone in the town of Floyd is in the Country Store on Friday nights! One thing I did not read in the other reviews is that it does cost $8 per person. The music was great, the people were friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed watching all of the clogging, two-stepping, and square dancing!

This is a wonderful little gallery. If you are looking for unique gifts, or something special for yourself, this is the place to go! I also really appreciate the fact that the owners support the Humane Society and animal welfare, and there are often cats around that are being cared for and for adoption. Anyone who takes their time out to better the lives of animals is a good person, and a business that I want to support! I highly recommend supporting this lovely gallery.

We did the 3 mile loop, and plan to trek the 10.8 mile hike a little later in Aug. the views are breathtaking! Some points you cross over a creek so be prepared and wear proper shoes. The rec area is very nicely kept and there is a ton of room to go up there for a picnic to enjoy the Mountain View. This is a definite must for all outdoorsy people.

It is worth braving the steep gravel driveway to enjoy some fine moonshine in this rustic little distillery with a comfortable lounge and tasting room. The bartenders were welcoming hosts and gave us a brief history of the business and did a good job explaining the different moonshine they create. We did a tasting flight and ultimately decided to buy a bottle to take home. They also make interesting cocktails. It's definitely a nice stop during a trip to or through Floyd.
