Not just for retirees and theme park enthusiasts, the Sunshine State offers beautiful beaches, pristine diving conditions, and sizzling nightlife. Salsa the night away in a smokin’ hot Miami club, or swing away at one of Kissimmee’s many premium golf courses. An airboat tour of the Everglades is an unforgettable adventure – just look out for alligators! For the risk-averse, a lazy day spent on the soft sands of an Emerald Coast beach is as rejuvenating as a spa treatment.

Dedicated to help preserve the language, cultural values and democratic ideals of the Cuban people.
A Cuban-American icon, The San Carlos Institute located at 516 Duval Street in the heart of Key West is MUST SEE and is awesome for history! Now a FREE museum (they accept donations and I always donate), it’s a great find and arguably one of the most beautiful buildings in Key West. Cuba has a lot of tied history with the USA, especially in Key West. Here you will see artifacts, art, documents, and other historical Cuban and Cuban American pieces. Devote about 30 mins to an hour and you won’t regret it.

The University of Florida is THE Flagship Institution in Florida’s large system of #HigherEducation.
Beautiful campus, very organized tour, excellent information shared about the university. We scheduled an advising appointment, toured, and then explored the dining hall for lunch. Great experience for our rising senior son.

This school is for serious aviators & aerospace engineering majors. We visited a dozen schools all along the east coast including the ivies and our child ultimately settled here. The campus is beautiful, safe, clean, with state-of-the-art equipment and modern facilities. Their labs are all high tech with the latest & the greatest aviation has to offer (including a new wind tunnel lab). The school has almost a hundred planes; they share Daytona Beach International airport next door where the weather is conducive to flying year round. Just like any private school, it is pricey. The staff/ administration are all helpful. Everyone we met during parent weekend were professional, nice, & welcoming. We are glad that our child is in a clean, bright, spacious, brand new dorm building but the other dorms looks like a jail cell/bunker. Sadly, the cafeteria food sucks both in taste and quality (the meal plan is expensive) - the school desperately needs a new food supplier.

A medium-sized private university, UT offers more than 200 academic programs taught by a faculty as passionate about students’ success as they are about their areas of expertise. Championship sports, student activities, community service, honors, leadership and study abroad programs complete an extraordinary academic experience that prepares students for anywhere a world-class education can take you.
Cool old hotel and museum on the bank of the Hillsborough River across from downtown. Used by officers during the Spanish American War. Lots of neat history here.

Even though I went to school there years ago, it was so cool walking back on the campus. Everything is nicely groomed and the energy all around awesome!
Exhibitions focus on contemporary art from local, national, and international artists as well as the faculty and students. The Art Galleries strive to offer diverse selections of mediums, content and culture while collaborating with other departments on campus to expand the scope of the visual arts.
