The Morse Museum is home to the world's most comprehensive collection of works by American artist and designer Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848–1933). Galleries feature works such as jewelry, pottery, paintings, art glass, leaded-glass lamps and windows; his chapel interior from the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago; and art and architectural objects from his Long Island country estate, Laurelton Hall. Exhibitions also include American art pottery, late 19th- and early 20th-century American painting, graphics, decorative art. Appointments required.
Though I must admit I love strolling the streets of Winter Park, a detour to visit the delightful Charles Hosmer Morse Museum is a delightful way to spend a couple of hours surrounded by exquisite Tiffany creations [and is also a nice air conditioned respite].

This is an outstanding museum you don't want to miss. We spent 4 hours going through all the exhibits. You can see it in half the time if you don't attend the 2 hour movie, but it is a highlight as it provides you the history of the Seals from beginning to present and we learned a lot. I highly recommend it. You will enjoy sitting in a black hawk helicopter, maybe seeing and petting a Navy K9 puppy, seeing Seal Delivery vehicles, maybe trying out the obstacle course, and getting a real appreciation for all the Seals do! You can even dress up for a photo opp!

Founded in the 1977, The Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum has a continually growing collection of over 45 historic warbirds from the beginnings of aviation to the present day. The VAC is a 501(3)c educational organization dedicated to the preservation of, education about and commemoration of Warbirds from all eras and the men and women who flew, maintained and fought in them.
For a smaller airport, this museum boasts a fine collection of restored military aircraft from the U.S. and other nations. Many of them are still in flying condition and we arrived just after a WWII B-25 had flown that day. Timing is everything. The staff and docents were extremely knowledgeable and instructive. Amazing to see one of the ONLY P-82 fighter aircraft from the WWII. This is a pair of P-51 Mustangs assembled together in a twin fuselage configuration. The museum does not sit on a major highway, but just follow the signs, as it is well worth the visit.

This is a local theater with extremely talented individuals. With the new theater under construction, one can see the possibility of the shows advancing to an even higher level, if that is possible.

Amazing collection to see, overwhelming amount of fabulous vehicles from all eras, and an education in the history of the automobile and racing, and some of the development of the Naples area. Really fun museum if you are at all excited by sports cars, or have children who are.

Welcome to the Greatest Space Adventure on Earth! Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is the only place in the world where you can see the real space shuttle Atlantis, touch a moon rock, meet a veteran NASA astronaut, tour a NASA spaceflight facility and get an up-close view of a real Saturn V moon rocket all in the same day! Arrive early for this full-day experience to make the most of your visit. The visitor complex opens at 9 am every day.
Three generations of family members all found something they absolutely loved about the NASA Kennedy Space Center and you can feel the excitement in the air with the SPACEX launch pad and NASA's upcoming Mission to Mars. Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed coming close to the 50th anniversary of JFK's moonshot being realized, Gen X and Millennial parents and Aunts enjoyed Atlantis and the very wee ones enjoyed all of the interactive exhibits, slides and play park. A great, albeit long day with plenty for everyone. Recommend doing the bus tour first as the line gets very long.

When it was completed in 1902, the New York Herald proclaimed that Whitehall, Henry Flagler's Gilded Age estate in Palm Beach, was "more wonderful than any palace in Europe, grander and more magnificent than any other private dwelling in the world." Today, Whitehall is a National Historic Landmark and is open to the public as the Flagler Museum, featuring changing exhibitions and special programs. The 75-room mansion contains many of the original furnishings as well as an art collection. Adjacent to Whitehall, the Flagler Kenan Pavilion houses Henry Flagler's private Railcar No. 91 as well as a seasonal restaurant, the Cafe des Beaux-Arts, which offers a Gilded Age-themed tea service. The Museum Store offers for sale a wonderful collection of books, gifts and memorabilia with a focus on Florida history. Open Tuesday through Sunday.
Well worth a visit despite the fact that the entrance is currently being renovated. This home reminds me of American royalty, if we had such a thing. The admission price includes a self-guided tour you can listen to and also includes Flagler's personal train car. Impressive, especially the dishes used, the enormity of the home, and the numerous decorated/named bedrooms.

The Ringling is located in Sarasota, Florida and preserves the legacy of John and Mable Ringling. It is home to the State Art Museum of Florida, the historic Ca' d'Zan Mansion, Bayfront Gardens, the Art Library, two Circus Museums, and the Historic Asolo Theater. The grounds and gardens are free to visit, and the Museum of Art offers free admission on Mondays.
The Circus Museum is closed for renovations as are an art gallery. The new Kotter-Koville Glass Museum is at the entrance to Ringling and is free to view. It has beautiful and diverse glass pieces; worth a visit. Admission--free with NARM, MARP, and ROAM memberships--provides admission to the fantastic Tibbals Learning Center, the grounds around Ca'd'Zen, and the truly outstanding and extensive art museum. Additional fees are charged to view Ca'd'Zen for the first floor or other floors. It used to be free to do a self-guiding of first floor and a fairly reasonable charge for two other floors. Now there is a high price, which is understandable when considering the very costly upkeep of the property. Still such high prices exclude this family. Ringling is for all ages and necessitates hours to enjoy.
