Stretching 126 miles south toward Cuba, the stunning Keys are a perfect escape. Highlights along the way include Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon, Big Pine Key and the irrepressible Key West. Get up close with an amazing array of fish while snorkeling, diving or fishing in the warm turquoise waters. Creeks, coral and costumed spectacles are other lures along the way. The secret of Key West is really the home town comfort behind the crowds and sights and sounds of Duval Street and the bar scene. Its the beaches, the bars, the people and yes, the local theater. If you haven't been to a play at the Waterfront Playhouse, you are missing out on the heartbeat of Key West.

This place is a true hidden gem. We traveled to KW with our 17 month old and this park is a true hidden gem. We visited 3 days in a row! Not only does it have several different playground apparatuses, but the splash pad is awesome as well! The bathrooms were super clean. We loved being next to the coast guard ship and watching people playing with their dogs in the fields. This park was not mentioned in any guide I read beforehand. My husband went running one morning and just stumbled upon it. If I were hotel staff and had people visiting with children, this is one of the top places I would suggest.

First time at this venue...saw an incredibly delightful two person play: DANCE LESSON! Dave Bootle and his female costar (Caroline) delivered Oscar performances! Hilariously funny, but also very poignant! You will not be disappointed!

The Studios of Key West has become a true artistic center worthy of high praise. It's something you might find in a large city, and yet it's in the middle of a quaint, small town. Great art, great classes, a fabulous bookstore, and top-quality theater productions. It should definitely be one your list to check in advance for events.

What a performer! I didn't want the show to end. Loved the story telling and humor and the acts! Icons like Bette, Cher, Marilyn! I am so glad we went. I hadn't planned well so my husband and I just showed up in hope's there were seats still available! Very reasonably priced, two drink minimum which is the norm for most shows/comedy clubs we have attended near where we live and honestly I wish I had looked into even staying at the hotel! The bars, outside of the hotel and whole package looked wonderful! I wish I could had stayed and caught another show but our time in KW was so short. Next time! Thank you for one of the highlights to our trip!
