The Lookout in Bakers Narrows Provincial Park was a suggested viewpoint by the wonderful Flin Flon Tourism Info Center. We arrived and drove around the campground to see the size/privacy of campsites. We may book a campsite here in the future. Once back at the park office, we parked and went to view the posted park map. The Lookout Tower was located in the day use area, located across from the park office. Once parked in the day use area, we displayed our Provincial Park Park. Applied some Muskol insect repellent and grabbed a bottle of water. We noted the sign for the Lookout then walked over to the wooden stairs that led up to the Lookout. After several, divided flights of stairs we made it to the Lookout. There are resting areas along the sections of stairs. A bench is available to sit a while. Majestic viewpoints from the Lookout indeed. I appreciated learning about the history of the area/Lookout from the signage. Thank you to everyone that made this experience possible Until Next Time

This is a delightful attraction! If you walk the whole loop around Ross Lake, it's around 5 km's, and there is some elevation on the west side, about 150 m's. You get excellent views all the way around, but the best are from the west side, especially the viewing platform, where get to see the mine site. A must-do if you're in the area! For people with physical challenges, or if you're pushing a stroller, the stairs might be an obstacle. If you want to get to the viewing platform in that circumstance, try starting from town on the west side.

I am glad that our town can sustain this museum - it has very important reminders of how this town came into being and survived throughout the years

Decided to take a day trip into Flin Flon as it's the first time I've been up there. After reading up on the history of how the town was founded after a copy of the novel "The Sunless City" was discovered by John Creighton, and was named after the fictional explorer Josiah Flintabbatey Flonitin, I had to check out the statue for myself. Pretty cool, lots of history behind it.
