Home of the world's largest model railroad, Northlandz also offers a 94 room dollhouse, art galleries and a massive pipe organ.
My wife and I took our granddaughters (age 10 & 12) to Northlandz. I notice that some of the other reviewers were giving Northlandz low ratings. I disagree with them. If you know anything at all about building model train layouts you will find Northlandz to be outstanding. The train layouts in themselves are amazing for kids. No it is not Minecraft or some other app or video game. So if you expect your kids to be dazzled by modern cell phone phenomena don't bother going. Also it is a little used, the carpets are not brand new, the bathrooms are not new but they certainly are okay (not what some of the other reviewers are saying). Northlandz is well worth the admission. Also, we went on the Sunday a week before Christmas 2017. The parking lot was full. If you like model trains please go.

This is a family friendly place to try some old fashioned foods! Each farmer family owns their specialty store. You can stroll around the candy store, deli-type store, cheese and pickles, produce, meats, hand made pretzels and donuts to name a few. Out of town guests always enjoyed visiting this little market.

We've gone pumpkin picking at Schaefer's many times over the years and have always had a good time. Fall is the best time to visit as there is always fresh fruits, veggies, pumpkins, flowers etc. around. They have a few farm animals that are fun to pet as well. The Halloween fright nights are always fun for the kids, I don't like to be scared so I sit out, but they all enjoy it. I do think the price for pumpkins per pound is high considering you can get pumpkins in Walmart that are the same size for $5 in total, but it's good to support our local farmers so we still go.

This is a great park for a picnic. It is nice to walk around. The natural resources are beautiful. There is plenty of open field space for children to run around and play.

Found this place completely by accident. Didn't even know that there were Buffalo farms in NJ. The store is only open on Saturdays! Just loved watching the buffalo walk around the huge pastures. We purchased buffalo burgers and steaks and they were very good, pricey but worth it.

I was very much looking forward to an evening at a Brewery, as I have frequented many wineries and enjoyed my time. The beer selection is unique, I particularly enjoyed the Local Pale Ale, West Coast Style IPA, and the Coffee Stout. I recommend the Flight, which will allow you four glasses of four ounce beer, perfect for trying different ones. The two disappointing things was that there is no food served here. You are allowed to bring your own food, however I would prefer some hot local food. Secondly, I found this Brewery to not be social and a little boring. It's very spread out, and most people come with groups. It would be nice for the Brewery to have some music, games, or something to help encourage people to socialize more. Overall, it's nice to sample some beers and have a quiet relaxing evening.

I've been the Conclave Brewery a few times now and in my opinion they produce some of the best craft beers in NJ. This time around we had the Bigger Space IPA, The Hop Ritual and the Mexican Morning Stout. All three beers exceeded expectation. The place is extremely small but that's what adds to its charm. They don't serve food so I recommend you bring something to eat especially if you're going to hang out awhile. Also the staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. Love this place

Bernadette Morales Nature Preserve is a lovely local park with various trails that’s great for an easy walk. After shopping and having lunch in Flemington we decided to check out this park and walk one of the trails to work off our meal. There’s plenty of parking in the lot across the street which also has a portable toilet. A map of the Preserve is located at the entrance of the main trail. Next time we will have to bring our dog.

This is a fairly new retail shopping center with quality stores such as Talbots, Jos.A.Bank, Lenox, HomeGoods, Loft, Charming Charlie, New York & Company, and more. The shopping center has a large parking area. You can access TGI Friday’s Restaurant and McDonald’s from the center’s parking lot. We thought the Lenox store offered a nice selection for gifts.

A local craft liquor distillery, providing unique vodka, rum and whiskey made with organic and non-Genetically Modified fruits and vegetables. We have created new-to-market recipes for our customers with a focus on locally grown, non-GMO ingredients to ensure clean, eco-conscious products which bring the taste of the American heartland to everyone’s glass.
Don't expect a super slick corporate backed distillery here. This is the result of two men who are building a dream. The small space they occupy is not fancy but it is functional and the spirits they produce here are amazing. Three beautiful copper stills pump out some tasty stuff.
This is craft spirits: Vodka made from potatoes (as it should be). Apple pie "moonshine" that literally tastes like liquid pie. The moonshine is still 78 proof so believe this is not lightweight stuff even if it does taste like dessert. All of it smooth, great tasting. You may never drink commercial vodka again. The Rye whisky is simply yum,yum yummy. The process amplifies the flavor without the nasty bite and headache inducing sulfites.
Started by two guys who found the courage to break out and give up the corporate rat race (gotta love that), this is the starting point for what will surely be a success.
Go for the tour, they are gracious with their time and will answer all your questions. Stay and have a drink at the bar.
A great way to spend some time on the weekend.
Please support these guys, the spirit to start a business (pun intended) is something many dream of but few execute on. These fellas execute very very well.
I will be going back for the peach moonshine for sure.
I am happy to be the one who requested they be added to trip advisor and it is my pleasure to write their first review.
Forget Titos, forget grey goose, and forget that mason-jar nonsense in the store. Go see what it should taste like, you will be glad you did.
