Second-hand shop, cafeteria and Christian book store in a historical building in the heart Neristan, the wooden town of Kokkolas' old town. The building is one of the largest and most beautiful wooden houses in all of Neristan. You can walk around in many parts of the house and find treasures with a cheap prize to bring home. The inside yard holds a beautiful garden cafe.

The old original indoor market hall of Helsinki in the southern harbour in city center is a very beuatiful, historical buliding. Still in use as a market for various food, nice cafeterias. Delicious local and international fresh food and dishes, berries, vegetables, fruits, cheese, bread, fish, sandwiches, salads, ice cream etc. Nice and cool in summer time.

Hakaniemi Market is set along the waterfront and features countless vendors selling fresh produce, fish and other local food, clothing, jewelry, local goods, and handmade crafts. During our visit, there was live music, the vendors and people were friendly and fun, the food was very good, the crafts and jewelry were unique and very nice, the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. Overall, we enjoyed strolling through the market.

Loved this place. Enjoyed browsing through the many food stalls - try the berries and also the fish dishes (salmon, herring, etc. with potatoes and vegetables). Had fun browsing through the handicrafts and souvenirs as well! And of course, many people relaxing by the seafront.

The market Square in Helsinki is a must if your a foodie! The fresh berries and vegetables were beautifully displayed. One food I tried at the market was Lihapiirakka, which is an everyday Finnish dish sold in supermarkets and often available ready to eat from fast food trailers. It is a form of savoury pie or turnover made from doughnut dough and filled with a mixture of minced meat and cooked rice then deep fried and coated in sugar. It's an acquired taste of course, very tasty, and ever so popular in Finland.
