New York’s Finger Lakes region takes its name from 11 freshwater lakes placed like a handprint between Lake Ontario and the Pennsylvania border. Skiing, hiking and biking trails traverse the landscape; visitors can also indulge in various wine, cheese and beer trails. The area offers a culinary bounty, with an emphasis on farm-to-table cuisine. Rich history and culture are found throughout the region, with one attraction more inviting than the next.

We went to Skaneateles for a few hours and we were really happy that we did. The town is really cute with lots of fun stores and places to eat and very Covid friendly.

Get outside, create memories, build confidence, and have an adventure! Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures offers 3 unique adventures at the summit of Bristol Mountain. Soar through the trees on a small group, private, Zipline Canopy Tour. The tour features 7 ziplines measuring 5,000+ ft, 4 bridges with spectacular views of the Bristol Valley, and 2 off-road rides. Conquer the Aerial Adventure Park, a series of 7+ challenge courses interwoven within the forest canopy. Each course is made up of 12-15 unique elements that include ziplines, tight rope walks, rope ladders, bridges, and even a skateboard! Watch your child gain confidence as they navigate, balance, and zip their way through the trees in the Kids Adventure Park. 2 courses specifically designed for kids aged 4-7.
So much fun. It's actually not scary once you get going. You feel very safe in the harness and you feel that your kids are safe. It's such a great activity for right now during the COVID crisis. You get to be outside and do a unique experience like that. My daughter had turned 10 (we did it for her birthday) and a little hesitant so we only did two of the seven courses over the three hour time. Tons of unique activities just on these two courses. The zip lines were the biggest hits. Total blast throughout and makes you want to go back. We went early and were glad we did- it got a lot busier towards the midday point when we were leaving. Highly recommend, especially now.

We are a Canoe, Kayak and Stand Up Paddle Board rental and sales business. We deliver throughout the Finger Lakes region of New York Sate.
We were staying in the area, and decided on a whim we wanted to go kayaking on Seneca lake. A quick Google search led us to Reagan's. We were quite pleased with the experience -- within a few minutes of arriving at the business we were standing at the lake shore, paddles and life jackets in hand, with two kayaks. Doug delivered the boats to the lakefront for us. Before setting out, we had a nice picnic in the shade of the huge cottonwoods right on the shore. We had a great time out on the water. We found that while a windy day makes for some choppy water, it can actually make the experience more fun! The rental price seems very reasonable. It was especially nice that it was a full-day rental, so we were able to take our time out on the water. FYI: payment is by cash or check only, but there is an ATM at a motel near the boat ramp, so this was not an issue for us.

Opened late in the 1980's, the Douglaston Salmon Run was developed as a low pressure, catch and release fishing environment to maximize the outdoor experience of every guest. Two and a half miles of private waters fishing offers a world class sports fishing destination with seven nearby lodges available year round for guests. Over the years, the DSR has evolved into a fishing experience for every type of angler, but definitely those who value natural surroundings as much as catching fish. Fly fishermen, casters, and drift boat fishing types come to the DSR for the catch and release, the atmosphere of respectful outdoor sporting, and for the attentive staff who work year round to keep the DSR clean, accessible and a good value.
A must die every fisherwomen and fisherwomen! It is just amazing how well it is set-up on one of the best river in North America for Pacific salmon, steelhead and trouts.... I am coming back for many years to come....
