What a beach...soo much sand. The beach is so huge parts of it are given over to artificial football pitches. Great walkways to take you closer to the sea shore. Not good for swimming unless you are exceptionally strong. Great expanse for some privacy

I have some words for this precious place in F. da Foz. This museum, which is located between the salt production fields, sheds light on the history of salt production in the region. Here you can get information by watching animated movies about how salt is produced and listening to the museum official, you can examine old production tools and photos. There is also a small shopping section in the museum and you can buy salt from here. After leaving the museum - depending on the season you go - you can take a stroll through the salt fields. If you go to F.da Foz, you should definitely go to this museum which give importance to effort and sacrifice..

A must visit when in Figueira, you can see for miles, don't miss it. A lovely cool drive up through the forest and some interesting hairpin bends giving some spectacular views out over the Atlantic with the pristine beach below.

It was the first bullfighting arena I have ever seen in my life. While touring the city with my friends, we saw that its door was open and we went inside. It was a small stadium like a box. Since there is no such culture in our country, we wanted to see it. We also took pictures with the elderly officials working there. This is a really nice collesium.
