Easy route with stunning views. Elevation is just 600 m., so if you can walk 20 km on foot you wont have much problems with this trail. Try to start as early as you can, if you have a suspicion that physical exersize combined with +40 heat may be not your piece of cake. About 2 liters of water is enough to last you between wells, but try not to step on bees there, unless it feels too easy and you want to add intoxication to the list of your problems, just fill you bottle politely and leave.

Our guided tours usually start at 9.30am to 10am (May-September) when we will all meet on the east side of Calis harbour in front of the Akarsu-T. We aim to set off at 10.30am and will take a gentle cruise to one of the secluded bays on the Fethiye peninsular. All of our full day tours finish back in Calis at around 17.00 pm We offer Turkish Tea, çay or Chai and Turkish or Nescafe Coffee mid morning, a beautiful lunch and afternoon cake is included in our full day tour prices. All drinks are reasonably priced.During the day we will visit 3 or 4 blue bays allowing plenty of time to take in the excellent scenery and perhaps go swimming. All bays have crystal clear water with visibility of up to 30 meters in some. Aquarium Bay is especially clear and many types of fish can be seen with long Pipe fish and very colourful Wrasse happy to show themselves. Swimming or Snorkelling is usually an option at all bay stops, but not if you do not wish to!

The settlement of Pinara was one of the principal cities of Lycia and existed as early as the 5th century BC. The site is in untouched mountain setting and offers stunning view of the Xanthos valley.

This ancient site was an important town which originally belonged to the Lycian people. Like all important sites, it had a chequered history, subsequently belonging to the Greeks, the Romans and even an Ottoman overlord. The archaeologists excavate here each summer finding more and more treasures, many of which are safely displayed in the museum in Fethiye. There are an impressive number of rock tombs, some Roman and some earlier Lycian ones which are as old as the pyramids. Tucked away and very difficult to access, is the largest and most impressive tomb, belonging to a Lycian priest, the walls are carved with animals and Pegasus. Also on the site is a Roman stadium and very impressive amphitheatre which are currently closed to the public because of the excavations. The climb up to the Fortress is indeed strenuous but the views from the top give a glimpse into why this was an important site - you can see literally miles and miles in all directions! Well worth a visit!!

A stunning place to visit and so conveniently close to the town. The rock tombs are spectacular, as is the amphitheatre, and an absolute must to visit. Well worth the few lira entrance fee. Not to be missed.
