What to do and see in Fashion District, Canada: The Best Things to do

January 8, 2022 Tambra Mccollister

We've heard Toronto described as "New York City run by the Swiss," and it's true—you can find world-class theater, shopping and restaurants here, but the sidewalks are clean and the people are friendly. The best place to start is literally at the top—the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the Western Hemisphere.

Thanks to the great people at CCC for teaching best practices for cooking with weed. We totally enjoyed ourselves as a family (adults) learning how to prepare, measure for proper dosing and how to “go low and slow” when ingesting cannabis The group were fun and our results were the cutest and tastiest little gingerbread men to treat Santa when he drops by (Providing the reindeer have autopilot ????)

Toronto Music Garden

Landscape designer Julie Messervy and a group of landscape architects from Toronto's Parks and Recreation Department designed the waterfront's Music Garden in such a way that it actually interprets in nature Bach's First Suite for Unaccompanied Cello. Starting off with the curves and bends of the riverscape, guests make their way through six sections of the garden ending at the Giant Grass Steps, which form a curved amphitheater where performances take place in the summer.

Delightful garden which was a perfect change of pace from our hectic morning. Lovely planting with twisting, turning paths and a musical theme.

SPIN Toronto

I recently went to SPIN for a work event. I figured ping pong would be fun (and it definitely was) but I was super impressed with the entire experience. The staff was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. They have an impressive beer selection, lots of great, local craft beers and the food was so good! I was expecting your typical pub fare (nachos, deep fried food etc) but we had an amazing cheese and charcuterie spread, veggies, vegan dip and some of the best chicken wings I have ever had! The staff also let us know that pretty much everything is made in house using local ingredients. I would highly recommend SPIN to anyone and definitely want to go back!

Ive been going to Hammam Spa for a few months now on a regular basis; Ive done the turkish bath, Facial Treatments, and regular deep tissue massages. The Hammam Spa is extraordinarily relaxing, the staff exceptionally attentive to any and all needs. If one thing stands out about Hammam Spa, it is the prodigious deep tissue massage performed by Sal. He is unparalleled in skill and I have always left feeling significantly better than when I walked in, I feel better in mind, spirit, and physically. I highly recommend Hammam and even more so recommend Sal if you are seeking a masseur with talent. I continue to book exclusively with Sal and will do so for the foreseeable future.
