The American Airpower Museum is Non-Profit 501C3 Aviation Museum and State Chartered Educational Foundation. A unique Museum where most of the historic Aircraft are operational and fly regularly during the spring and summer months. The Museum is located at historic Republic Airport in Farmingdale NY. The Airport established back in the 1920s by Fairchild and Grumman Aviation. Eventually the home of Seversky Aviation during the 1930s it would evolve into Republic Aviation in 1939. In 1941 Republic produced the P-47 Thunderbolt which would go on to be the most mass produced fighter of WWII with over 15,000 built. Republic would go on to build the F-84, F-105, and A-10 Fighter Aircraft all right here in Long Island NY. Today the American Airpower Museum calls one of the last three surviving Republic Hangars home.
My wife & I visited this museum on Jan 13, 2020. I am a Veteran Air Force Squadron Operation Specialist, being based in Germany from 1961-1966. I flew many hours in the F-105 Thunderchief second seat, there & in Libya. We have visited a few museums in the past. However, this was the most informative & specialized of them all. That includes all of the aircraft displayed & the data given by our guide. It covers the years of WWII, Vietnam Desert Storm & more! Why did we decide on this Museum....... They displayed an F-105 from the Vietnam era!! Standing outside the hangar in it’s camouflaged markings & slightly damaged tail, it made a powerful statement, awaiting it’s complete refurbishing. Made me proud! I recommend many to come & visit our countries’ past Heroes & the Aircraft they flew to protect our America! Thank you. TC

My husband and I go here for a night out, my kids go here with their friends and we've come as a family too! The sets are SO comfortable! and the rows are spacious, so no one is climbing over you to scramble for seating. Movie tickets cost enough so we usually eat dinner before a movie rather than purchase snacks but that's a personal preference. Popcorn at a movie is so much fun and there's is great.

RPM Raceway is America's ultimate all-electric indoor go-kart and entertainment destination providing an authentic, exhilarating and safe racing experience second only to climbing into an actual race car. From weekend warriors seeking a quick thrill, to determined racers looking to become the next Dale or Danica, RPM Raceway was created for racers of all levels.
This track is so much fun. The staff is professional and they keep a keen eye on the race at all times. I would not suggest this place for someone who does NOT like driving, or who has never driven anything before. If you are inexperienced and still want to drive, I suggest the “unlicensed” races. Those cars move a little bit slower so you can get familiar with the driving and the track. Otherwise, it’s an amazing fun time. My advice is to schedule a time when there are not very many people. This way you can have the track almost to yourself, and can really test the speed and cornering techniques. I highly suggest this for parties and business outings!

Who can fail to love needing a password to get through a secret door to a subterranean speakeasy. The bar itself is cool and also serves bar food. When we were there a jazz three piece we’re playing. Love it!
