Looking Glass Creamery

Looking Glass Creamery offers a charming little Cheese Shop in Fairview just outside of Asheville. They offer an award winning line of cheese & caramel. Enjoy sampling and buying their products or stay for a while and enjoy the loft seating or outdoor garden area with a glass of wine or beer and a housemade cheese plate. They also sell aged meat, crackers, jam, pickles, wine by the bottle, local mustard, and other seasonal, local products.

Came here after a hike to enjoy some cheese and wine. We met Sean (I hope I got the name right) who helped us when I wasn't sure where we should park with the lot looking like it was full. Then he explained the cheese and put together a beautiful plate for us. We enjoyed it outside, but it was getting a little hot so I moved inside to sit upstairs. They have a bunch of cute tables and chairs set up so you can enjoy the cheese in any weather. Sean was kind enough to make sure the AC was on so it wasn't too hot up there. All the cheese was great. What impressed me the most was how kind everyone was that worked there. A special shout out to Sean who not only directed us to great cheese and wine, but took the time to write a list of places we should visit in Asheville. Definitely recommend coming here.

We stumbled on this one and so glad we did! Such friendly people, knowledgeable and proud of their craft. The beers are very good and for a smaller place they have quite a nice variety to choose from! I have to tell you though it's their kombucha that keeps me coming! It's amazing, maybe the best I've ever had! This is a very family friendly place. Come as you are and enjoy hanging out.

HNGF is a remarkable place. This is a working farm specializing in pasture raised beef and pork where you can go right to the source for superb meat. In addition to a large variety of cuts of meat, they have the best sausage I have ever tasted. There is also a counter offering excellent sandwiches that showcases their products. On some weekends they offer family events centering around the farm.
