After a hellishly busy morning, but a brilliant early lunch, I required exercise. Weather was pretty good, so stopped off at Esher Common, on the way back from Cobham. To the uninitiated - a cracking walk starts at West End Esher Common. Loads of free parking along the road near St George’s Church and the Sports Club Pavilion and Bar. The pathway starts near the West End Esher Common sign/board, then leads you in the direction of the main road betwixt Esher and Cobham. If one so desires, you can then traverse the main road, and head for Black Pond on the opposite side, which is well worth a visit.

Visited the prince of wales with my boyfriend and was served by a lady called Ella who recommended the kraken and coke for a choice of rum. Great selection of gins available as well to my partners delight! Will be returning!

Over the years we have had many visit to Garsons and seen it grown into the huge place that it is now. This time we took my grandson fruit picking which he thoroughly enjoy. The strawberries are grown in high level troughs so there is no bending to pick the fruit which is great for slightly older people who may want to go. Have picked our fill of strawberries and raspberries we went for a wander round the shop and garden centre which has so much to offer and I defy anyone to leave without buying something. Lastly we stopped off at the restaurant for a coffee and a cold drink. The restaurant is large with lots of seating inside and out. I can't comment on the food as we did not eat but the cake looked impressive.
