Spend your days catching Sailfish, Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, and maybe even a Blue, Black or Striped Marlin. The Pacific Coast of Guatemala is easy to get to, flat seas, great weather, has it all. We target mainly the huge numbers of sailfish here, they average 70-90lbs, eight to ten foot in total length and are superb sport on light conventional tackle or fly-fishing gear. All catch & release! We manage ‘Decisive’ with Capt Brad Philipps, the Capt who has released more Billfish than anyone in the planet, having Captained in Guatemala’s waters longer than anyone! With 30,000 Billfish releases to his credit and 17 seasons of experience on these waters, Guatemalan Billfishing Adventures has gained the reputation of being the finest Bill-fishing operation anyware. Other Boats:Intensity’ - 37 ft Gamefisherman, ‘Typhoon’, ‘Sur Reel’, ‘Piragua’ all are 31ft Bertram with Local Captains. Fishing on one of the other boats, comes along with the same care and professionalism as we do our own boat!

This was an excursion from a cruise ship docked at Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala. We travelled in a comfortable bus to the coffee farm, where we were met by a guide. The farm was fascinating, and the guide was full of information. We didn’t just learn about coffee, we also heard about the many other types of flora and vegetation growing in the extensive gardens. We finished up with a very interesting video, and a cup of their coffee and cookies. The farm also had a shop selling locally made items, and we bought some lovely presents to take home. It was a really nice outing.
