Once a casino, this graceful white building is now an architectural monument and features tours of its voluptuous interiors.
We enjoyed going to Rivera del Pacfico and taking a tour. We also saw a very good entertainment show. There was Mexican dancing, singing, and an amazing 80 year old plus who did rope tricks. Rivera del Pacifico was a former hotel and a favorite to stay at by many Hollywood entertainers and people like William Hearst. We also were given our choice of beverage - Mexican Coca-Cola, Pino Colado, or a Margarita. Vendors were also there selling their wares.

We stopped by to record a Slow Baja Podcast with Tru Miller, the affable and gregarious owner of Adobe Guadalupe Vineyards. She was busy having breakfast with her agronomer when we arrived. Tru invited us to join them at the communal table in her large and beautiful kitchen. The delightful and lively kitchen staff prepared fresh eggs, sausage, refried beans, and homemade tortillas while we snacked on a plate of freshly-picked figs and berries. After breakfast, we sampled some of Tru's Tia Tula Tequila. It is a blanco tequila that is beautiful rose' color as it has rested in used Raphael wine barrels. I don't often get to sip tequila with breakfast but I must admit it was a lovely way to start the day! I moved onto the podcast interview with Tru, while my partner, received a tour of the beautiful grounds. We joined him when the tour got to the Inn and winery after the recording had ended. A fiesta luncheon to celebrate the grape harvest was starting, and we were encouraged to stay. A hearty taco lunch for all the Adobe Guadalupe house and field staff followed, and we were delighted to be included. We highly recommend the Adobe Guadalupe Vineyard and Inn. Tru Miller and her team are lovely hosts!

The highlight of this park is a water feature that starts up at night time. The water fountains start up at random times and positions every couple of minutes, accompanied by lights and music. The most fun is to be had watching brave souls walk into the fountain area, essentially playing 'chicken' with the fountain, only to be drenched when the fountains burst up right from around them.
