Here at Thunder Road Classic Car Hire in south west England we currently have 4 iconic V8 classic American muscle cars of the 60's and 70's for self drive hire. Our fleet of classic American convertibles includes our 1965 Ford Mustang, 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, 1970 Ford Mustang and 1971 Corvette Stingray.
My wife and I have hired from Matt on two separate occasions with the Vette. What can I say? Amazing customer service, a real passion for classic american cars. You will not be disappointed, the Vette never missed a beat on both occasions, I really struggled giving it back!! Thanks Matt, brilliant ????

Thorngrove Garden Centre is a traditional garden centre in the heart of Gillingham for over 50 years. As well as a fantastic selection of home grown plants, pots and large gardening selection we also have The Secret Garden Cafe (now open) for the best homemade coffee and cakes, our Garden Shop providing garden accessories and gifts, as well as several glass houses and nurseries.
We had the pleasure of visiting this little jewel of a place a few days ago, and what a find!! Its a proper garden centre, not a tourist attraction, where the emphasis is definitely on plants and all things green. They do have a well stocked shop but there again the emphasis is on plants and their associated needs, rather than unrelated gifts and nick-nacks. There is also a very pleasant little café cum coffee shop which serves brunches, light lunches, cream teas and such like at very reasonable prices. They also promote the employment of people with learning difficulties and special needs which for me is a big feather in their caps. The staff are warm and friendly and the public are welcome to wander about, even in the greenhouses. The place is a little bit of a work-in-progress with several changes afoot in the next 12 - 18 months, but they are very much open for business and when the proposed changes come to fruition it has all the hallmarks of being a first rate place to go for all your gardening needs. Its there already compared to other centres we've visited. We will be going back again, even though its a half hour drive away from where we live. I do feel quite envious of the good people of Gillingham to have such a place on their doorstep.

Very dedication displays, recording the whole of the Dorset county and the local clay industry, making bricks and chimney pots.Good library as well.

Really good value at £4.50 per child (adults free) and a loyalty card scheme too. Never too busy and the staff are friendly and very good. A little off the beaten track (use Sat nav) but well worth it
