Nestled in the heart of Sowerby Bridge the Blind Pig is a privately owned bar specialising in live music, cocktails and a warm and friendly welcome. Upstairs at the Pig we have a private meeting room which comfortably seats 12. In addition we hold an open mic night on the third Sunday of each month. Live music every weekend.
Friday night after a long week. Just called in for a couple but as ever Julie had booked a blinding band. Julie’s (landlady’s) love for music and her patrons shines through. Great local band The Surge brought a capacity crowd with funk fuelled grooves. Whenever we can’t make a band night at The Pig fuels massive feelings of FOMO. Great pub, great atmosphere, great people and staff. Sowerby Bridges best kept secret. The best reason to get out in this dull winter weather. Long may it continue.

The Turks Head is a country style pub in the heart of Town, with roaring fires and an amazing homely feel. We serve a variety of hand pulled ales, and also an ever expanding variety of gins!

The Butchers Arms is a small village pub in Ripponden, just on the outskirts of the main village. Adjoining the pub are six one bedroom apartments. Each with it's own living room / kitchen area, shower room, and double bed. We try to provide everything you may need, if there any extra requests on arrival please do let us know, we'd love to help. We can provide hairdryers and ironing boards on request. The village it's self has a Co-Op and a few places to eat including a new Tapas bar and take away restaurants. There's a local butcher and baker just a short walk down Dyson Lane, the lane directly next to the pub. Though it's quite steep, so you'll burn off the bacon on the way back up! There are plenty of local walks and reservoirs, it's great for dog walkers. We do allow dogs to stay but there is a small one off single charge for the extra cleaning. If you'd like advice during your stay on the best places to walk just pop in the pub and we'll let you know where to go!

I use techniques derived from Swedish massage, to give a deep but sensitive massage tailored to your individual needs. This type of massage allows tight, tense muscles to relax. As a result your tension and pain fades, leaving you more relaxed, happier and with an improved sense of well-being.

Such a lovely place to stop by for evening drinks! Erin behind the bar was amazing too, made our relaxed night even more pleasant! They had blankets and stuff outside too which is a nice little touch on a chilly evening so you can still enjoy sitting outside.
