The day we visited, the Visitor Center wasn't open, but we enjoyed the river cut out and the ponds. We were disappointed that we couldn't feed the fish, as friends had told us how much they enjoyed that. Still a very worthwhile stop!

The best trailes in a preservation in Michigan. In thr woods over three miles of easy hiking with excelent signs a trail maps along the way. Do not miss it.

Upon arrival there were a couple of guys to help you parking and tell you which way to start on the trail. It was a beautiful walk and of course the lake view was gorgeous.
