we visited abu dhabi at the beginning of February. we werde so lucky to take our holiday before the shutdown. back to the qasr al sarab :-) our journey startet at the atlantis in dubai where we got our shuttle to the desert. already that was a 5* trip with a very friendly driver. Ariving at the resort we got a warm welcome and were shuttled to our pool villa with a fantastic view into the empty corner. in the evening we went to the bar at the top with a beautiful view to the sunset. we went sandbording, camelriding, had a saluki and a falcon show, walked the dunes, lay in the sun, drank wine, were lazy at the pool, had cool and tasty drinks (at the pool and the bar), awesome food in different restaurants, sunsets (too lazy to be up at dawn, sorry), met nice people, had a false fire alarm and got an excuse wine, always friendly staff take a pool villa it's really worth it. now the one negative point. we took the transportation of the resort which isn't cheap. when we left the resort we asked if the driver could bring us to the great mosque and wait for half an hour to have a short visit. They told us that it costs extra which is a bit stingy as we spent quite a bit there. none the less we will be back and will enjoy the magic place stay safe

One of my favourite Tourism Activities in the whole UAE to take visiting Family & Friends. Our guide Hassan was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the Birds & Educated us on them through great humour and storytelling. Watching a live procedure as well as feeding the birds was a highlight.

Although still under construction, we took a cab from Dubai to see this unique concept of a completely self sustainable city on Abu Dhabi. Nice architecture and autonomous pods and self drive buses to ride on (free). However, a lot of it is still being developed and is still under construction. But, an amazing concept and well worth the visit. But as a tourist, although we took a cab, we still needed sat nav to reach the place as the sign posting, at this point, is not clear (at all). There are cafes and a few shops and a new Carrefour they had opened as well, and cabs waiting to take you back to the city, if the same is required.
