Very nice traditional shop with friendly staff. You can find anything you need from souvenirs to herbs, spices, tasteful wine, suma, ouzo, liqueur and the best beauty products I found with olive oil and aloe Vera. Last but not least was the local olive oil and the one with spices. Highly recommended!

Ebonas Winecellar is a small family business, located in Ebonas village, 52km away from Rhodes town. Ebonas village is set at the foot of mountain Attaviros, the highest mountain of Rhodes island. Extended vineyards surround the village which is famous for the excellent quality of its wine, mainly produced at small local family wineries. Our cellar offers you a wide selection of the best traditional wines at very low prices. There, you can also find extra virgin olive oil, herbs and spices, thymian honey, home made jam and the local beverage, Souma. All of our products are locally produced. We are a small workshop in which we manufacture handmade olive wood items! We offer you a wide range of items such as bowls,honey pots,mortars,cutting boards and much more.All wood items,are crafted with local olive woods which dry for years naturally before we use them..We wait you to our store to see how many things you can take from an olive tree. .

We visit Embonas every time we travel to Rhodes (3 x 2020) and I must say I always enjoy the wine tasting experience at Alexandris Winery. The shop now just further through the village has a great display of wines on the shelves and Despoina has been a great host for us when we have sampled the wines there. The brothers work very hard to produce such nice wine and have also been great hosts on our visits in the past. I always purchse different wines but my wife and family love the medium sweet wines whether red or white and their semi sparkling Rose is also very pleasant. Don't just take my word for it take a trip to Embonas and sample the wines here I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

Welcome to Cava Stafylos! Cava Stafylos is a new place on Rhodes island! Started for first time at May of 2013 gives the opportunity to the visitor to have a direct touch with our tradition! Here exists a small traditional house of Emponas village, where someone can see the way people used to live many years ago! Next to the house is our distillery for souma.

Like many places in Embonas for wine tasting all have a unique experience and here they have a great experience for tourists to try. Apart from wine they sell olives soap etc and other little souveniers. The small traditional Greek house to peruse is lovely. The staff are welcoming and friendly and if your a coach load or just a few people they give a great service on your wine tasting experience.
