Try your hand at glassblowing! Create a pendant, bud vase, shot glass, or more, while learning about the history of glass and having an fantastic time!

My boyfriend bought us a groupon for Michael's glassblowing class for Christmas... I wasn't sure what to expect, but I promptly watched the entire "Blown Away" series on Netflix to learn all I could about glass blowing... Well, I've got to say that I learned more about the actual mechanics of HOW glass blowing words in the 90 minute class than in 8 episodes of the tv show. He's a super and energetic teacher which made the time fly by... He and his colleague are super patient with the most timid of students and dedicated to making sure everyone goes home having had an enjoyable experience. I'd definitely consider returning for another class!

Conewago Recreation Trail

This is a great trail for biking that will take you all the way up to the Lebanon county fair grounds, but no need to go that far, the Jigger Shop in Mount Gretna is far enough. It is roughly 12 miles from the start of the trail on Rt 230 in E-town to the Jigger Shop, maybe half of it on a slight incline. Basically when you get to the top of the hill, or close to it, you get off the trail and head down another path to a road that takes you right into Mount Gretna. It's hard to miss. Best part is you can treat yourself to an ice cream or milk shake, and they have cold water to refill your water bottles for the ride back, and roughly half the ride back is on a slight down hill decline. Last time I went the whole distance the trail was not is such great shape beyond Mount Gretna, but that may have changed.
