Gather-A Food Studio is a cooking school locally owned and operated by Dave Cook and Cortney Smith on West Colorado Avenue in Colorado Springs. I’ve been attending for year now, and I’ve learned so much from Dave and Cortney. Such as using fresh herbs and fresh spices, or layering with salt and pepper with every additional ingredient. Dave and Cortney will show you skills and techniques in creating delicious, flavorful, and restaurant quality dishes from user friendly recipes which will be easy to replicate at home. No matter what your level of cooking you are at, or just simply interested in making a particular dish, Dave and Cortney have created a fun and welcoming place for aspiring home cooks and foodies alike at “Gather”.

My name is Leah, and I want to share my passion for French baking with you! As a child in Canada, I grew up surrounded by French. I married a French Canadian, and can't get enough of France. Now I teach French baking classes from my family kitchen, where I use the same appliances you probably have, too! I also run a farmer's market booth where I sell my own hand-made French croissants in 8 flavors, along with jams, baguettes, and more. Bon Appétit!
