Building on its must-visit location, the once-tiny El Calafate has grown quickly to cater to and profit from the visitors to nearby Los Glaciares National Park. Many visit to see such natural wonders as Perito Moreno Glacier, a massive glacier that’s actually composed of many other pieces of shifting ice. Yet travelers will find that El Calafate is much more than merely a gateway to the Patagonian wild—it’s a fun town offering all sorts of outdoor adventures.

a cozy place at just one block from the main Av, to get involved in the argentine wine culture. You can also, taste the best coffee available in the town, and spend a good time here. Or Make a virtual trip alongside the andes, tasting wines from each region. Buy the best argentine at the best price. Dont miss it !! We are waiting for you !! featured wine tasting every day.
On first glance we thought we were back somewhere in Mendoza. A walkabout the shop proved this was one of the better selections of wines ( certainly the Red) we had seen in awhile, outside of Mendoza. The shop is a wonderful combination of rustic humorous adornments and given that they combine this huge selection of wines with tastings and yes even morning coffee to start your day... they have a quote for that there as well. My favourite was “I Make Wine Disappear. What is your Super Power? “ Yesterday we tasted white, this morning it was Cappuccino and blue cheese with whole grain bread. A Very Definite Place to Visit. Big thank you to the friendly and informative ex Buenos Aires young man ..Fredrico .. apologies for any mis-spelling.

Old fashioned resto loungebar. V.I.P. moments in our warm living room with a stunning view of the Argentino Lake. Live music bar. Vinyl collections and players available, art exhibitions, the best cocktails, wines & whisky selection.
Run by a musician, eccentric personality, dreamer and entrepreneur called "Coqui", this is a MUST for anyone visiting this paradise location of El Calafate and its glaciers. PERFECT end to your day, it is ONLY open in the evenings and not on Mondays. Magnificent views, a long-ish walk or a short taxi ride from the city centre. You will want to spend all your evenings there
