We live this market. It is not touristy. It is hard to get to it is aka Al Khayamiyya if you are using google maps or Google Bab Zuwayla. There are so many textile markets etc. We found a great slipper shop. Do Egypt . Enjoy the journey

Amazing tapestries and story behind the museum. Guide was super helpful and welcoming, told us a passionate story of heritage, roots and Ramses's love for education and nurturing new generations of artists. Please visit, please support by buying their amazing products and please advocate and rate!

This mall is superb! I didn't know about it until I passed it by on the way to Heliopolis. Was determined to check it out coz it looked massive from the highway. It's big, expansive, clean and easy to navigate; plus it seems brand-spanking new. There's everything you would expect in a traditional mall; Women's/Men's/Children's Fashion, Luggage, Confectionery, Jewelry, Watches, Footwear, Toys, Gifts, Cosmetics, Health & Beauty, Sportswear/Goods, Leather Products, Books, Fashion Accessories, Electronics/Home Appliances, Furniture, Pharmacies and numerous services. A wide array of dining experiences are available at Almaza City Center, including cafes, fast food, casual, as well as formal dining locations. The food court is gargantuan; with soooooooo many well known franchises and food chains! Entertainment includes Vox Cinemas, Fun in VR, Gravity Code and Magic Planet for the little ones. I was really impressed with this mall, because it has everything you could possibly ever need and then some! My experience was fresh and exciting, though brief, so I wish I could have stayed a little longer, but I plan to hopefully return in the not-too-distant future. A fabulous mall, with an excellent location. Please do endeavor to visit whenever in Cairo. Highly, highly recommended!!! ????????

This outdoor market is a central feature of Aswan, Egypt’s southernmost city.
Starting from the Train Station running parallel to the river all the way to KFC, the huge market starts off with the usual tourist stalls, then goes to the local market and then ends with more tourist places. Number one rule is to barter. Remember how much things cost where you come from and don’t be ripped off, unfortunately it’s normal for somethings to start at 200 LE and you ended up walking away with it for 20 LE, be ruthless when talking about the price and you have to be willing to walk away to get the best price. Great fun, highly recommend.
