Nice for kids almost nothing for adults. Park was clean and staff friendly. Price is mid to upper range for what they offer. But it is the best water park for a hundred miles in any direction.

Kuttawa Harbor Marina

We reserved a pontoon boat for the 2017 eclipse (viewable in totality). This staff has the best customer service, offers the options, explains the details and walks through the boat amenities with professionalism. They even surprised us with an unplanned upgrade giving us a boat with greater horsepower and threw in some additional time on the lake. Cost for the boat $200, plus gas for ~5 hours. Well worth it! Having owned boats in our history, this is CHEAP!

The beneficial upgrade really added to our unique and memorable experience! I will also take a moment to plug the luxury bathrooms they made available. While they could have simply provided port-o-pots, instead an air-conditioned, private-stalled trailer with 4 bathrooms for each gender (male: 2 urinals/2 bathrooms) awaited our convenience. This trailer is decked out with the nicest flooring, wall covering, super clean and with refreshing aroma, in addition to custom hand soap/moisturizer. Outstanding!! After a day on the lake in 95 degree heat and lake water, this is a lifesaver to freshen up before hitting the road in a crowded vehicle.

The restaurant had breakfast/lunch/dinner options and their general store was well appointed. Drinks were reasonably priced and a good band was playing while we were there, we understood this was a frequent occasion. This made us consider a return trip! If you're thinking of taking in an excursion, feel free to try here. There's a couple B&B's nearby and the little town seemed like a nice getaway for couples or groups.

Really enjoy their first Christmas show of the season. The music was very upbeat and some comedy too. The performers were very talented and enjoyed what they were doing making it even more fun. Never got the impression that they were just going thru the steps and music just to get it over with. The ending is simply beautiful. Highly recommend.

Buzzard Rock Resort & Marina

Reviewed By Billy H - Nashville, Tennessee

Buzzard Rock courtesy dock/boat ramp is sometimes forgotten be cause many people just use the dock at Buzzard Rock Marina. I like this one better because it's usually not as crowded as the marina ramp and you don't have to deal with all the cars that are in the marina parking lot. There is also a lot of foot traffic at the marina ramp because of people going to the restaurant there.

This courtesy dock/boat ramp is located on the same road as Buzzard Rock Marina, but you make a right turn before you get to the marina. Just look out for the sign & you won't miss it. The parking lot has about 14 spots for your truck & trailer to pull through. There is a small roundabout you use to pull up past the boat ramp so you can then back down it. The pavement on the ramp has deep groves on it for traction of the vehicle and even for your shoes, which is a plus. I cannot count the number of times I've slipped on a boat ramp. The ramp enters the Champion Springs Cove.

We loaded two jet skis in on a Monday afternoon & there was only two other trucks in the lot. I've never been here on a weekend & I would think that it would be much busier then. I was able to jet the jet skis off & tie them to the courtesy dock that's located next to the boat ramp. It was a pretty painless process & the boat ramp isn't too long so there isn't a lot of awkward backing up that some people have when launching a watercraft.

Friendly staff person, but overall the antique place wasn't all that antiqueish, but maybe more yard saleish. It was fairly clean and organized. Plenty of parking and not far off the highway.
