It doesn’t look like much when you park but you need to walk across a picnic area where you will find a trail overlooking the ledges. At the end of the trail on the right there is a stone stairway to a trail below where you walk along the ledges. We have seen nothing like it in Lower Michigan. It was amazing. The trail I has some roots and rocks that would require lots of supervision of younger kids. Great for pre-teen and older.

The Country Mill orchard is the only mid-Michigan cider mill where a family can pick fresh apples, peaches, and blueberries at the same farm. We also offer our own locally grown vegetables such as sweet corn, winter squash, and pumpkins. In the fall, come enjoy tasting our homemade wines, hard cider, pies, donuts, and other baked goods. We also offer tours on Tuesday through Friday in September and October. Many activities on the weekends in the fall. Weddings and private parties year around.
My daughter and her family and I spent a Saturday here in late October. It’s pretty hectic on the weekends so be prepared for crowds. But a great place to pick your pumpkins out for Halloween - either in the field or from the huge selection right by the main entrance. You can also pick apples in their orchard or from bags in the shop. All sorts of apples available for all uses. We come every year and always come home with several pumpkins and at least one bag of apples, a dozen donuts and some fresh cider. It’s a small operation but plenty to see and do.

It’s a great place to go and walk along the river or play in the playground. I just don’t like the fact that you have to pay. So play a long day because if you are out of county it’s $5. If you don’t want to pay just go downtown and walk along the river and take the scenic route along the rustic trail from the Masonic temple.

This Dimes Brew House in Dimondale, Mich is outstanding. I'm really in to stouts and red wine. There wine is hm made and was terriff. Flavor beyond, it was a Pino Noir. Don't miss out on a opportunity to enjoy the wonders of some really neat owners and beers of all kinds. Susan Celsor of Okemos
