My husband and I walked the trail today. It’s was a beautiful day. Lots of sun because the leaves haven’t grown yet on the trees. Perfect to keep us warm. So much to look at and do. The labyrinth was my absolute favorite part! We walked around the cemetery also. This trail is perfect for anyone!

Few would know that the second reading of the Declaration of Independence took place on Center Square in Easton, PA, days after the signing, and presented on July 10, 1776. The "square" in the 20th century is now a "circle" with war and remembrance veterans monument, each year covered with the nation's largest Christmas candle and featured in a number of holiday and celebratory presentations. The mayor has served for nearly 16 years and has revitalized the Easton area with community development projects, and attracted a wide variety of sleek and trendy restaurants which capture visitors from the Pocono area, nearby Philadelphia, and even outliers from the New York City region. The historic downtown area also hails the church where General Washington quartered his troops during the Revolutionary War. Worth a visit and also consider settling-in the residential communities of College Hill (Lafayette College), Palmer Township, and the brick-faced former mansions and brownstones in downtown and Delaware riverfront sectors.
