Popular replica of an Indian settlement.
The visitor centre is bright and modern, the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The exhibits inside and out are interesting. The marsh trail is a scenic beauty. It is an easy walk and about half way there is a viewing area which gives you an outstanding view of the marshlands and the ocean. A really pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.

Wonderful beach to swim if you prefer the mild waves of the bay. Paved parking, daily fee on season. Bathroom facilities.
Small sandy beach, west facing for beautiful sunsets. Sadly, like many bay beaches, grass is fast encroaching on the available beach area, so the future is in question.

This was our last stop on our 3 day mini-golf Cape Cod PGA tour. (Okay, the PGA part is an exaggeration!) This is just a really neat side trip. for 10.50 for 3 people we played a very nice 18 hole course designed with a farm and antique farm equipment motif. Some easy holes to master and a few challenging ones. Well worth 10.50! The gift shop is MASSIVE and contains toys, jewelry, beachy-themed home décor, all things emblazoned with "CAPE COD", and plenty of tchotchkes with lobsters on them. Some retired Studio 56 Christmas items and other collectibles like Snow Babies, Angels, and Christmas dolls. We found a few little items for our daughter and she seemed to enjoy poking around the store.

A great beach to hike, relax and soak up the natural beauty of the Cape Cod National Seashore.
Stopped here for the day to soak up the sunshine. Nice beach, we got the bonus of watching seals near the shore looking for food. Everyone was taking pictures and watching the seals. Pretty cool.

This is the location of Marconi's famous transmissions, but there isn't much to see, except a few display boards explaining the history of the sight. Worth a quick stop.

You have to walk many stairs to get down to the beach. Tide was low, so there was a lot of Beach. But the wind was blowing causing the surf to rise. Not really cold for an October. The kids from the local high school or having their gym class there. I think they were running one of the trails. My first stop of several beaches. There is the lighthouse there.

A scenic and historic walking trail managed by the Cape Cod National Seashore.
Fort Hill is a perfect place for a long and leisurely walk with wonderful ocean and marsh scenery everywhere you look. The walking paths wind up, down and across meadows that slope down from the Hill towards the marshes And the bay, with the National Seashore dunes in the distance. A wonderful place for a picnic, or for an artist or photographer.

Over 40,000 beautiful acres of protected beach and dunes, stretching from Chatham to Provincetown.
We really enjoyed visiting the Cape Cod National Seashore park. The whole area is a wonderful haven for wildlife, and the beaches are beautiful and unspoilt. We visited the Salt Ponds Visitors Center, and also several beaches so we had a really great time.

This is one of our favorite beaches on the Cape. It is usually crowded however there always is room amongst the crowd to set up a chair or two. The snack bar at the beach serves excellent food. It is near where we stay so it is accessible for us. I appreciate you can drop off your beach items in the parking lot and then walk back to the beach from our Inn. We came one nigh around dusk to see the full moon. At this time you can park in the parking lot closest to the beach without cost.

Absolutely breathtaking at sunset and it is a real community event! Everyone comes to see the nature show! Best beach to avoid the ocean infested with sharks!
