Desert Designs sells quality works of art, furnishings , furniture, jewelry and so much more. Items reflect the Middle Eastern culture and are beautifully crafted. The staff are so attentive and friendly but are not imposing. I never felt like I was having someone breathing down my neck but there was always someone available if I had a question. Fawaz helped us throughout our whole shopping experience...he is cheerful, knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor - such an asset! The service at this store (experience) is not only notable for the region but is comparable with top class shops worldwide. There is also a delightful coffee shop on site. We are truly happy that we can take a little bit of Saudi with us on our expat journey.

A must to visit in Alhassa tour, for shopping and enjoying the traditional-style design for one of the oldest markets in the region, that was built in 1822 AD-1238 AH, and was recently renovated. The Qaisariah souq is one of the most famous historical markets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, rich in historical sites including palaces, towers, mosques and traditional markets. The Qaisariah souq consists of more than 422 shops and is distinguished by its architectural designs of closed corridors and elevated roofing. This offers the visitors good ventilation and natural light while walking in the market, and enables them to have a better grasp of the ancient heritage of the Eastern Province.

New Khobar Corniche is an additional recreation facility in the city. huge parking, jogging track, BBQ stations, mobile charging out lets and a beautiful scenery , with development work still on going. The water tower structure designed by saudconsult ( my office) is till under final stages. It is a place to visit daily early in the morning.

A beautiful shallow wet land lake located near to Al hasa, consisting of wet lands surrounded by Ferns and sand dunes with lots of migratory birds. Although the access to this location is difficult and needs a 4x4 suv, you will never regret visiting or forgetting this place. Please note: you must reduce the tire air pressure of your 4x4 vehicle substantially before entering the desert.

It's a nice family market to enjoy shopping as well as a lieser trip with children to enjoy weekend . Here you every house hold item to purchase ,next to it there is big fish market with vegetable market.
