Situated between the famous Bluebell Steam Railway and the historic Sheffield Park and Garden in Sussex, Bluebell Vineyard is one of the UK's leading sparkling wine producers. Established in 2005, we specialise in the production of award-winning estate-grown English Sparkling Wines using the methode traditionelle. We use the classic champagne grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier along with Seyval Blanc to produce sparkling wines that evoke the flavours and aromas of England. Our beautiful estate is open to visitors all year round for tours and tastings along with self guided walks around our vineyard and woodlands.
We thoroughly enjoyed tasting two still and three sparkling wines produced at the Estate as part of a wine tasting experience. Our host was just so nice and she described and explained the wines expertly and in a lovely relaxed way. So we had a thoroughly enjoyable Friday afternoon which of course prompted us to purchase a couple of bottles of sparking for home use.

We are an award winning organic winery and vineyard just north of Rye in East Sussex. We have a lovely tasting room and shop and a self guided trail around the vineyard. We take visitors on tours around the vineyard and winery explaining how we grow grapes and make wine (£10/person). Our focus is sparkling but we also make small quantities of still wine. Look forward to having you visit!
Stayed in early September for a week with my partner and 6 other friends. Great house to chill with mates in with the BBQ and firepit. Plenty of space in doors too if you go in winter and spend more time inside. A few of the people in our group had to 'work from home' when there for a few days as, no problems with wi-fi for a few concurrent conference calls ????. Right next to/on winery for cheeky vineyard views and wine tasting which was great. ???? recommend for a get away, lots of stuff to do in surrounds (restaurant, bike rides etc) as well with other wineries as close as 10min cab and Rye/Camber Sands beech only 15 mins out. Staff were super helpful when we needed anything, and place was clean with good kitchen for cooking. Only word of warning is try make sure you book cabs ahead of time if you wanna cab to other wineries in the area as well because there is no Uber in the area and cab companies can be real business in peak. Will definitely return.

The weather wasn’t on our side for the vineyard tour but we had a fantastic day regardless! The owner and his son are very charismatic and funny so even in wellies and umbrellas (which they provided) in the cold we still learnt loads about the vineyard and of course got to try some very generous tasters of the sparkling wine too. Really great vineyard, I’ll certainly be back in the warmer months and hopefully do some picking too!

Boutique, family run vineyard just south of Tunbridge Wells growing Bacchus, Pinot Noir and Regent grapes. Open by appointment only
We really enjoyed our trip to this vineyard - hidden off the beaten track in the countryside, it felt like a true discovery. The owner Paul gave us a fascinating guided tour of the vineyard in the sunshine, followed by a wine-tasting of the wines produced from the vineyard's grapes. I'd highly recommend a visit.

The whole experience was first class. The greeting on arrival was friendly and coffee and biscuits within minutes followed by an incredibly informative vineyard tour by a very pleasant gentleman, the wine tasting followed with delicious wines and then the plentiful ploughman’s lunch taken al fresco. Perfect.

Ridgeview was founded in 1995 by Mike and Chris Roberts and is dedicated to creating world class sparkling wines in the South Downs of England. Our vineyards specialise in growing classic grape varieties to make the highest quality bottle fermented sparkling wines. The world class status of our wines is reflected by the number of national & international medals and trophies we have received since the release of our first wines from the 1996 vintage. The second generation of the family have now become established in key roles within Ridgeview, enabling the continued expansion of the business. Our dedication, passion and determination have significantly contributed to the international reputation and popularity now attributed to English Sparkling Wine. This passion and determination is shared by a great team of dedicated staff who are fundamental to the continuing success of Ridgeview.
Really interesting tour, great location and fantastic wine. Really good value and works well for a socially-distanced activity.

Sedlescombe is England's oldest organic vineyard, first established 1979 by Roy Cook. It's also home to the oldest Biodynamic vines in England, first certified in 2010. Sedlescombe is also believed to be the first English vineyard to win an international award for an English still red wine (2013). Set deep in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and in the heart of '1066 Country' there are stunning countryside views from the vineyard and lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Individual visitors and small groups are welcome to pop in for a self-guided stroll through the vines & woodland, or why not pre-book a guided tour and tasting and check out the catering options available! All tours include a tasting of Sedlescombe's range of international award-winning wines, and wine can be purchased from the cellar door.
Would like to say how fantastic it was at this vineyard today. We had a great tour (very informative) and lovely wine tasting followed by a top class ploughmans lunch, in a delightful setting Soon to be even more great when the winery opens Highly recommended
A boutique wine estate celebrating contemporary craft and the art of winemaking. Our beautiful converted barn and alfresco terrace, with views across the vineyard, are open to enjoy tastings and as a cellar door. If you’re like us, you love to get out to enjoy the fresh air we will be offering tours around the vineyard followed by a tutored wine tasting, which can be booked online or by phone. We work with artisan winemakers to craft exceptional fine English wines from grapes we grow in vineyards across the South Downs. We grow the main grape varieties used in classic method sparkling wine, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Méunier with a dash of Pinot Gris.
