We've been using Adventure Sports for about 20 years now as our canoe-trip outfitter on the Delaware. They're always cool, accommodating and make the trip as easy as possible. The equipment is in great shape and the price is reasonable. I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking to take a float. Thank you.

OPEN winter weekends and holidays, WEATHER PERMITTING. A unique "mini-zoo", celebrating our 52nd year!! Everyone will enjoy this compact and easy-to-do animal experience. Slow down, don't move too fast, or you'll miss some of our exhibits, like our exciting private collection of live reptiles including a Gaboon Viper, Blood Python, and many others. Visitors can purchase our food for the bear, monkeys, and lemurs (toss it to them and watch them catch it in midair!) and bottles for our pot-belly pigs and goats. You might even be lucky enough to catch our sloths AWAKE! All in all, a fun place to visit when you don't want to spend the time it takes to visit a "regular" zoo! NO outside food or drink (except water), no doublewide strollers, and don't forget the camera (no flash, please). Face masks and distancing are required in PA! Winter hours, weekends and holidays, 12-5pm, weather permitting! Masks and distancing observed here. Visit our Facebook page for more information.
We stopped by this hidden gem while vacationing in the Poconos. The family that runs the exhibit really cares about the animals. You can feed almost all of them, including a pair of 50 year old monkeys and a bear! Our daughter loved feeding the goats and pigs by hand. Easily one of our favorite experiences of the trip.

Only one golf course architect could do justice to the natural beauty at Great Bear Golf Club - the one known worldwide as The Golden Bear, Jack Nicklaus. His 18-hole championship design demonstrates why he's been considered the master of his game for decades. Nicklaus has taken the natural advantages of the site and worked harmoniously with them to create a course that, besides it's play, is an experience in itself. Integrating the three lakes, several streams, wetlands, small bridges and rolling terrain, Nicklaus has created a course that presents itself differently to golfers of varying skill. For the experienced player, the course offers interesting challenges and pro tees that will bring out your strongest game. Yet it's also designed to be a course with the ultimate in playability, ensuring enjoyable round after round, revealing its intricacies and craftsmanship the more you play it. Great Bear is destined to be one of the Golden Bear's great ones.
On our annual golf trip we played Great Bear Golf Club in the Poconos. The course was in great shape and the staff was friendly. We had a very nice day.
