East Java (Indonesian: Jawa Timur, abbreviated as Jatim, Javanese: Jåwå Wétan) is a province of Indonesia. Located in eastern Java, it includes the island of Madura, which is connected to Java by the longest bridge in Indonesia, the Suramadu Bridge, as well as the Kangean and Masalembu archipelagos located further east and north, respectively. This place may look like a nightmare of your badest dreams but is so amazingly beautiful, surprising and adventurous. People visit here for 2 reasons a) To reach summit and stay there to watch beautiful turquoise lake and if lucky some views of blue fire b) To reach summit and then go down the crater to have chance of lifetime to see blue fire and sulphur miners doing manual mining We gathered all our courage to go down the crater as well. Now this trekking starts late night as blue fire is not visible once sun comes out so we need to go down crater before sunlight comes out. Going up the summit of Ijen requires decent stamina but not very challenging. Challenging part starts when you to move down the crater in almost zero light and only torch or mobile light visible. Its one of the most adventurous hiking done by me. During going down, you will encounter sulphur miners who manually gather sulphur and hangit on there shoulder to the top (almost 70 kg in one round) and they do it 2-3 times in a day, it so damn amazing as we only in one round were totally out. Reaching bottom is like reaching surface of moon, completely different environment with deadly gases around (masks are suggested to be safe from carbon di oxide), unique surrounding with sulphur coming out of mountains and then you see the most amazing thing - BLUE FIRE, its so beautiful For hikers/nature lovers - its a must visit. Its ones in a lifetime experience Special thanks to our tour guide who ensured we experience everything and safely too.

Holiday with my family to Batu secret Zoo and museum satwa, really nice place to show your kids many kinds of animal, the place is complete with a lot of free rides games.. for sure you will enjoy it.. recomended to visit. For advise much better to visit on weekday.

The hunt for the rising sun was the main thing I was looking for when I ventured to climb Mount Bromo in the east of this island of Java. When the night began to turn into, slowly but surely, it really fascinated and captivated me, although what I have to go through is quite a heavy climb to watch this sunrise. but in my opinion it is very feasible, the beauty of the mountain on the island of east Java is able to captivate anyone who visits it. In Mount Bromo, East Java, there are interesting places that I can explore to get the sensation of private sun hunting, I really like the view from the very quiet Penanjakan 2 hill which became my choice to get more privacy.

As it goes with my title.. This is a must place to visit in Surabaya. Seriously, you have to clear your schedule for 1 or 2 hours, then go there. The museum is free to enter. On second floor, you can see the old "kretek" (Kretek are cigarettes made with a blend of tobacco, cloves and other flavors. The word "kretek" itself is an onomatopoetic term for the crackling sound of burning cloves) factory. And what I love from the second floor is that souveniers are sold there! Unlike common souveniers that you can easily find on the street, they sell something more unique. But note that almost all souveniers have very strong odor of the "kretek".

Mount "Kelud" is one many vulcanoes in Java Island Indonesia, which has special characteristics, different from other vulcanoes I have ever visited before. The shape/formation of Mount "Kelud" always changes from time to time, specially after the vulcano erupted.
