A great selection of items made in the USA. Many items are surprisingly inexpensive given that this not only sells American Made goods, but, also is not a national retailer, like Walmart. You'll find relatively unusual items and some local flavors in the grocery area as well.
Great place to shop! Chef's frozen pizza. Full half gallon of ice cream from a local dairy! You don't see that anymore. Puzzles, glider airplanes for the kids, metal art, tools, sleds. Something for everyone!
Between Vidler's (and boutique shops) in East Aurora, the Marilla Country Store in Marilla, and this place, (and another store called "A Snail's Place") in Elma, you'd be hard pressed not to find something great for yourself and/or for others. All within 10 minutes of each other.

This is a cool natural feature to see. It's a relatively short hike, maybe 20-25 minute walk. It's a little slippery in spots, but you'll know where. I think it's a great idea to stop by earlier in the morning or maybe before dinner-time so there are fewer people. We went with a group of 3 around 2pm on a Sunday. There were about 20 cars and 10 people taking photos around the flame- not bad at all.

The Roycroft Campus in East Aurora, New York, is the best preserved and most complete complex of buildings remaining in the United States of the "guilds" that evolved as centers of craftsmanship and philosophy during the late 19th century. The Campus, designated a National Historic Landmark district (NHL) in 1986, contains nine of the original 14 structures including the Inn, the Chapel, the Print Shop, the Furniture Shop, and the Copper Shop. You are invited to come visit and discover the rebirth of the Roycroft Campus as if Elbert Hubbard and the Roycrofters never left.
Great historical tour of the campus and Elbert Hubbard. How ingenious he was in getting the vompanies he worked for to the top. Unfortunately pride and his down zipper it can be assumed, was his downfall. However great history tour. Places to sit were in abundance during the tour

In the first decade of the 20th Century, Elbert Hubbard launched a careet as a writer, philosopher, orator, publisher, and founder of the Roycroft - one of America's, most successfful Arts and Crafts communities, in East Aurora, NY. In 1985, Gladys ScheideMantel donated her craftsman bungalow (built by members of the Roycroft Community) to the Aurora Historical Society. The museum contains beautifully bound and illuminated books, furniture, copper work, and other Roycroft memorabilia on permanent display as well as oil paintings by Alex Fournier and leather work by George ScheideMantel. The museum is open from the beginning of June to the end of October. The hours are from 1-4pm on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.Special tours can be arranged by calling the office or checking the web site.
Hubbard was one of the leading proponents of the Arts & Crafts movement in America in the 1890s. He founded the Roycrofters, a campus of craftsmen who created books, magazines, ceramics, and glass. At this museum (docents are available) you'll learn about Hubbard, the movement, and and the importance of the Roycrofters.

Millard Fillmore was the 13th president of the United States serving between 1826 and 1830. Auroraeans are proud that we shared in the young adult life of Millard Fillmore and his wife Abigail. We feel honored to have the Millard and Abigail Fillmore House designated as a National Historic Landmark and hope that you will enjoy coming to visit.
Millard Fillmore. There are four stops on the tour, and they each contain items previously owned by the former president. On the day we visited there were four docents, and they varied greatly in their presentation quality. The presentation in the front where we received our orientation to the house and and Fillmore was over-detailed and very long. The presenter on the second floor was nicely focused and to the point as she discussed the artifacts on display. The presenter in the kitchen seemed to be giving a presentation to a group of children which was entirely inappropriate for a group of 10 mostly senior citizens. All was redeemed by the presenter in the rear parlor--a woman with a fantastic personality who discussed President Fillmore's life and the artifacts on display with charm and a great sense of humor. Obviously a must for the history tourist.

Explore & More is where fun & learning play together! This hands-on museum has hours of fun packed into one place – all designed for kids ages 1 - 10.
First time going to this well known local children's museum. Took a 3 and 4 year old and they had a blast. There are so many things to experience...an arts and craft room, discovering different world cultures (you can even try on outfits to experience what other people normally wear). Many areas for little hands and minds to participate in and experience different jobs (carpenter, plumber, cook, farmer, fisherman, scientist, etc. There are so many things to do and experience that one can spend an entire day here. It is fun for the adults too. We all had so much fun and look forward to going back soon. Prices are reasonable and there is even a separate room to eat if you bring a lunch. The areas are well used and well maintained.

returned here when several other courses were waterlogged... either this place has gotten a lotttt better, or my memory has retreated... course in terrific shape and most forgiving to the wide-ranging tee shot... pleasant personnel, well-stocked tee shop and generally fine course conditions... at this price, you seldom find a course in a shape as good as this one...

These people are awesome ! It's a wildlife rehab center that is just out of this world. It's always a treat to visit. They have many types of tours and activities going on, you can even "adopt" some of the birds and animals. It's a real up-close and personal look at the beauty of these great birds and animals. Go to the website for lots of info on their programs and don't forget to donate to a great cause !
