Flows through Boise and provides more than 25 miles of scenic paths for biking, hiking and jogging.
You’ll love The Boise Greenebelt. It meanders for miles from the Lucky Peak area to Eagle Idaho. It runs along the Boise River right through the center of Boise. I’ve often seen deer, bald eagles and blue heron while walking the greenbelt. The greenbelt is great for running, sunning and biking. It runs through several city parks and is a must do while in Boise. The most recent addition to the greenbelt is bike rentals. Download the SoBi (social bikes) app and off you go. Keep in mind The Boise River is a powerful river, not a safe place to swim.

Fun summer Sunday for the family. Lots of shade for relaxing and a shallow beachy swim area for the kids. We go here for the waterslide and shaved ice. For about $10 kids get an unlimited slide bracelet. Watch your kids while you sit in the shade and eat shaved ice.

We were in Boise visiting grandkids. They wanted to go to the Village with the shops and attractions. It was a winter wonderland! The Christmas lights, tress and decorations created a warm and family environment. Seasonal music was playing. Kids were ice skating on a small outdoor arena. Vendors were selling hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls. Stores were varied and well kept. The entire scene was well put together.

Another great Boise park. The 41-acre park is nestled south of the Boise River across from Ann Morrison Park off Americana Boulevard. The park, meant to attract resident and migratory wildlife, is off-limits to vehicles and bicycles. Dogs are also banned during the waterfowl nesting season from March 1 to June 30. A two-mile aggregate path winds through the park and its shallow ponds.
On a recent visit, nearly a dozen white-tailed deer were calmly munching on grass and other vegetation as they strolled through the park.

Olive and Vyne offers a wide variety of extra virgin olive oil, infused olive oil and balsamic vinegars, all available to Try Before You Buy. The shop also carries an array of gift baskets, unique companion merchandise and of course, scrumptious olives. Stop by for a unique tasting experience!
Opening my eyes to the world of flavored and infused oils and balsamic vinegars. The tasting room is so interesting and the staff so helpful in the parings. We always leave with 4-5 oils and same with vinegars. Love the fact there are small bottles...MoreThank you so much for the great review. It always makes us happy when someone shares their experience at Olive and Vyne. We hope you enjoy pairing your goodies at home!

This craft brewery has a good selection of beers, from IPAs to very different barrel aged brews. The customer service has always been very good. The bar is small, but the extra space added on is very nice and open. They have pub tables and couches.

This is a very tastefully constructed exhibit of Anne Franks life. Of all places around the US this exhibit in Boise is unique and possibly compensates for the Antisemitism and Anti-Civil Rights culture of Northern Idaho.

Visited yesterday afternoon after receiving recommendation from local friend. Drive out was nice and relaxing once you get out of town, and quite easy to find. It is a destination since nothing else is around here. Weather was cold and windy so we stayed indoors which was nice and cozy. Nice selection of wine with two whites on the menu and four reds. There is a food menu to order from so let staff know when you arrive if you want food so she can warm the oven (at this time of year). Vivacious white and Cab Franc blend were favorites.
