We will begin our day trip with a visit to the capital and religious center of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son, which has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beautifully situated in a lush green valley, there are dozen of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th century. It presents a vivid picture of spiritual and political life in an important phase of the history of South-East Asia. The historic town, which used to be a prosperous seaport city from the 16th to 18th century, is now a wonderful city that cannot be missed while touring the Southeast Asian region. While walking through the city, we will make a few stop to visit Hoi An Museum, many of the town’s renowned Ancient Houses which boast remarkable architecture, Assembly Halls of Chinese influence; Art Craft Manufacturing Workshop and of course the must-see Japanese Covered Bridge. Contacted the night before by email and message at front desk of hotel to confirm times & pick up.Picked up from our hotel at the time stated relatively new mini bus with air conditioning. Bus held 12 only 6 on tour. Cold water provided. Scenic drive out to My Son with the guide pointing relevant points of interest as we drove to site (about 90 mins). The site was empty on our arrival (just before Covid 19 hit a number of countries had already stopped their nationals travelling). The site is small but worth seeing. We had to take an electric bus up to the site from the car park I would have preferred to walk as it was less than a mile. The guide was very informative and answered any questions brought up by the group. We had nearly 2 hours walking around and then back on the bus to Hoi An. We asked to be dropped in the Old town not at our hotel which the driver and guide facilitated. We had considered renting a scooter and making our own way there but it is quite a considerable distance, the weather very hot, traffic intimidating and roads are not always hard surfaced. Worth the money

The tour quality is not too bad. But the company's attitude towards their employee is bad, which is very important because that employee will use the same attitude towards the customer. Negative emotions are something that should not be present when traveling.

We had a guided tour arranged by our holiday tour operator. We were so glad we did , as you would not know much after. The ride was very exciting, but make sure you confirm the price for outgoing and returning. The lake is full of Lotus flowers in the summer. Tinh Tam Lake was where the Emperors came to relax, also popular with students who also come here to study.
