The grounds of remembrance to the fighters in many wars America has been in is well done. Simplified and understated. Lots of soldiers names in the bricks by the walkways. It is adjacent to an OLDE cemetery surrounded by an old hand built stone wall. Many of the tombstones are weathered to the point of being unreadable, if not broken. There is a large one, set laying on the ground under a big old tree. I wouldn’t mind being buried in that tranquil spot. Just across on corner is the ultra modern new public library building. Across the other is the brand new foot bridge across the river to the Bridge Street area Dublin has been developing. It’s a great area to visit! There is also a creek side trail behind the cemetery that runs up and down ridges. It’ll make you forget your anywhere near a large city. Pretty area! Go. Be respective. Explore.

The Dublin link bridge is the centerpiece of a large park project on either side of the Scioto River. The bridge itself is open, while the construction on the other sections should be finished by next year. It should be wonderful when everything is finished.
