This place is a spectacular natural beauty. It is a must see if you are near Austin. I visited last weekend. There were a couple of people swimming in the pool. I waded. It just always fed my spirit to be out in nature, God's creation. Another gem in Hill Country.

Beautiful and peaceful! The park is well developed with great bathrooms, and lovely trails. Great place within a few minutes of Hamilton Pool, and great access to the Pedernales River. Loved it! We will return again.

This is a wonderful experience. The property and the building are pretty and welcoming. Unfortunately, the cold snap in February had a negative effect on the olive trees so they weren't green while we visited. We missed the tour so we walked through the orchard on our own. It was very peaceful and scenic. Prior to our arrival, I had read some revues of this place. Everyone raved about the grilled cheese, like REALLY raved. We decided to have lunch and our choice was simple, grilled cheese, tomato soup and a light salad with their own vinaigrette dressing. I will be talking about this lunch for a long time. It was one of the best meals I have ever eaten - homemade bread, gooey cheese, tomato soup with a fennel flavor , and a delicious little salad. Service was very pleasant; all the staff was happy to answer questions about the place and the products. The gift shop is definitely worth your time, too. As we were leaving , a young woman was hysterically crying about her small dog. We went to help her and discovered she had accidentally stepped on him and spilled her cup of wine. I went back inside to get her water and napkins. They refused to let me pay for either! Now, that is customer service.

Treaty Oak Distillery is named after the famous 500-year old tree in Austin under which Stephen F. Austin signed agreements defining the borders of Texas. In 2016, we moved southwest of Austin to a 28 acre ranch called Ghost Hill located near Dripping Springs. With fun for young & old, our property (open Thurs-Sun) includes a distillery (tours on Saturdays, res required), Alice's Restaurant, a chic dine-in space with an elevated menu focusing on BBQ, sandwiches, salads & sides. Our food truck serves BBQ, tacos & snacks. Our Rickhouse Bar is open to all & our Tasting Room has a science-driven bar. Also, don't miss our bottle shop located adjacent to the distillery. We have live music most weekends & a playground for kids. Leashed dogs are welcome.

Located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, Dripping Springs Vodka is made and owned by Dripping Springs Distilling, LLC. Dripping Springs is micro-distilled 20 times in copper pot stills in small 50-gallon batches. It is then mixed with pure, mineral-rich artesian spring water from the Texas Hill Country before a final clarifying slow filtration through Swedish activated charcoal. Dripping Springs is lush and balanced, with a smooth finish. Dripping Springs Vodka won Gold Best in Class and the Vodka Purity Trophy at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2008. It is the only American Vodka to have won the Vodka Purity Trophy in 50 years of the IWSC, which is the world’s largest and most prestigious Liquor and Wine competition. While here, you can also sample our Dripping Springs Orange Vodka, Dripping Springs Artisan and Traditional Gins, and our 1876 Straight Texas Bourbons.
I love the relaxed atmosphere. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable about their products. A cool visit with a good flight/tasting.

A few of my friends and I just wanted to get away. We love breweries and have been to many but Family Business Beer Company comes in on the top of the list of favorites. Relaxing atmosphere, great staff, Awesome beer. We played a few rounds of bean toss/corn hole and we took a few card games to enjoy while relaxing in the scenic picnic area. The live musicians were so good that we were surprised to realize that the music was Live. We were also surprised to realize we had been there for a few hours as time just flew by while we enjoyed the delicious craft beer FBBC offers. To sum up our visit (and to use that review title again...because I can't express it enough): Great Beer - Great Staff - Great Atmosphere.

At Twisted X Brewing Company, it’s simple; we love craft beer as much as the Lone Star State! We specialize in creating handmade Texan-American beers that are made with high-quality, local products. Our passion to make great beer has led to us inventing Tex Mex Beer™, which combines Texas craft beer with Mexican-style spirit and flavor. Our mission is to have fun, treat people right, and bring something new to our local market through beer. We’re passionate about combining hops, grains, yeast, and water into your glass to create something unique that we’re really proud of and that you will enjoy and share with your friends and family. There are many people out there who find one beer they like and are too afraid of the unknown and never branch out. This is where Twisted X comes in. Our Tex Mex Beer™ began with the goal of educating people on how different ingredients can make complex beers that will make you rethink how you view beer. Our team of brewers come from diverse backgrounds, but they all share the love of great beer and bring their own unique recipes and ideas to the table. We have maintained the 3 barrel brewing system that Tex Mex Beer™ was founded on to allow our brewers to create small batch beers that capture the types and styles of beer they love. Come by the brewery for a tour and samplings or pick up a six pack at your local vendor. Pour yourself a Twisted X brew and always drink upstream from the herd.
Met up with 3 other couples from FL for lunch & brews to kick off our weekend in the Hill Country. The tacos from the food truck were all great. My hubby & I shared a flight of 6 beers. My favorites were the Mild & the one described as Oatmeal Porter. He liked the lighter ones. All were pretty good & each was unique. Something for every taste.
