Every day, at regular intervals, mini-buses leave our Aquafun bases at Trémolat and Limeuil, to take you up-river to the destination of your choice. You have the rest of the day to enjoy your trip back down-river to the Aquafun base. Our kayaks are fitted with state-of-the-art seats which give optimal support to your back. Established 2009 Stand Up Paddle Perigord opened the first Stand Up Paddle School and Rental Business in French canoe countryside on a river. We are located in Cenac and St Julien in the heart of the Black Perigord, next to the Dordogne river inside the UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. We offer a beginners program as an introduction to Stand Up Paddle followed by trips down by the river Dordogne with a graduate guide in a unique landscape filled with Middle Age castles. What is Stand Up Paddle? Stand Up Paddle or SUP is a new sport; an outdoor activity born out of Surfing.Stand up paddling consists of riding long, wide and stable Boards. Armed with a long paddle the participant stands on the board and guides themselves along the water. Fun, Easy, Accessible to everyone & it keeps you Fit. “Everyday on the water is a good day.”

CANOËS LIMEUIL welcomes you at LIMEUIL (24), one of the "MOST BEAUTIFUL VILLAGES IN FRANCE" at the confluence of the rivers Dordogne and Vézère, a unique site in EUROPE. Accessible to all, this sports and leisure activity can be practised with family, friends, in groups and at any age. You can go down two of the most beautiful rivers of Périgord at your own pace and in all safety. Discover the famous sites that stand proudly on the cliffs overlooking the Dordogne River (castles, troglodytic dwellings, caves ...) while passing by over the water. Or wander along the VEZERE " A WORLD PREHISTORIC SITE" in a green setting and a preserved nature. Irrespective of your chosen trip, many small and easily accessible beaches will incite you to taste the joys of swimming or of a picnic, if you so desire. Parking is available at LIMEUIL near the CANOËS LIMEUIL base.

The Dordogne is a peaceful river particularly adapted to the practice of "Canoe Detente" with family or friends, you have at disposal an original way to discover the castles and the villages, some of which are classified among the "most beautiful villages of France" . You leave your car in our parking of one hectare shaded. Then a bus takes you upstream from the river. Three circuits are possible: - Departure by canoe from Vezac: 7 km ; 1 to 2 hours - Departure by canoe from Roque Gageac : 14km ; 2 to 3 hours - Departure by canoe from Carsac: 28km ; 4 to 5h During your descent, you can make stops to picnic, you bathe. After returning to the Port d'Enveaux, you can pick up your vehicle or you can take advantage of the facilities provided free of charge : picnic area, games for children, shower ... NB : Canoe Detente is open all year round and Our family lives on site since 1887 !
