In summer we feature plants, fresh veggies, fruits, and Farm to Table Dinners. In Fall our 40 acres of pumpkins, squash and gourds turn our farm into a harvest haven along with two large play areas for families of all ages to enjoy, a 10 acre corn maze, wagon rides and special fall events. In November we transform into a winter wonderland featuring fresh cut trees, wreaths, roping, and gift items.

We were traveling on a Mississippi River cruise, and one of the excursions offered was to a dairy farm and Harvestville. The excursion featured a wooden wagon ride around the huge sunflower field which was in full bloom at the time. It was so beautiful that I took nearly 100 pictures ! This 5th generation family-owned farm also features a pumpkin patch and corn maze in autumn, a snack bar, picnic areas, and plenty of games and activities for children. The large barn gift shop is also worth a little browsing. Fresh produce is featured, as well as beautiful gift items. The displays are very appealing, and whoever styles the store's displays certainly knows how to inspire buying ! This appears to be a very popular destination for people from miles around, and it is certainly worth an hour or two of your time, particularly if you have kids. The family members who conduct the tours are super nice and friendly, which seems to be an Iowa trait.
