Approaching the site we asked some passers by as to the location of the magical water, the pointed to a small ditch running beside the footpath. Amen! A miracle! The water did indeed run upwards. Possibly the best attraction in taitung, eventually we had to leave as we could not hog this wonder all to ourselves. Also we got bananas from one of the vendors. Toilets make this a good rest stop as well as a destination in itself.
