Da's farm was passed down to him from his parents and has been in his family for generations. When you visit the beautiful organic garden, he'll tell you more about the history and show you all of his organic herbs and vegetables. Da grows rice, various types of basil, green beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, bananas, papaya, pineapple, galangal, ginger, and much much more! Almost all of the ingredients that you cook will come from his garden, freshly picked!
it was perfect! Da is such a nice guy! it is really an amazing experience! thank you Da for this day!

The Fine Art of Thai Massage was founded with the intent to pass on the fundamental techniques necessary to give a therapeutic and healing massage. At The Fine Art of Thai Massage we feel it's important that our students understand how to apply massage techniques in a rhythmic and meditative way. Students are taught how to work from their centers, keeping their own body relaxed.
I've spend 4 weeks studying thai massage in this school and I loved it! It was a great experience I've learned a lot about thai massage but so much more! Mac is an amazing teacher and person (also great cook). He teach with patience and kindness. He is always there to help us, laugh with us, show us his place and the country side. I already want to go back! Thank you for everything!!!

We wanted to see celadon being made as well as have the chance to buy a few souvenirs so made the trip to Chiang Mai Celadon in DoiSaket. On arrival we were invited to watch a short video before looking around the workshop where you saw the various processes in operation. There was also a stunning showroom of beautiful pieces, suitable for all budgets, but really nice quality. All the buildings are grouped in a lovely green compound which makes it a particularly nice place to visit and there are several traditional wooden buildings full of beautiful pieces which you can look around. Also, the lady owner was particularly welcoming.

What a find! I don't understand why this place is not talked about more in Chiang Mai. The gardens are beautiful and there is so much to see. Different types of plants, amazing topiary animals, live animals including camels and ostriches, peddle-boats, children's play park, and a maze. You can go around in a golf buggy or hire bicycles. There is an excellent buffet restaurant for lunch in the same grounds with Thai, Western, Japanese foods. An excellent place for families but even our teenage son loved riding the bike around freely.

My name is Nick Westermeyer. I am a quadriplegic from a gymnastics injury sustained at Michigan State University in April 1991 who is interested in global travel and participating in activities not normally associated with disabled people. I’m currently on an adventure that will explore worldwide handicapped accessibility. Many people have travel blogs, but there are none that I know of that come from the vantage point of a wheelchair user going off the accessible path. There are two areas with about 10 steps to get up to the Wat. I was able to transfer out of my wheelchair and bump myself up the steps. Once up the steps, it is easy to get around. Chiang Mai is not very accessible, I would recommended traveling with someone to help.

We had a lovely morning visiting the hot springs. We boiled eggs in the hot pool and bathed our feet in the hot streams. We also went swimming in the mineral pool and had a Thai massage.
