Sitting on a bench in front of Sax's house, in Dinant. A beautiful statue to enjoy and join the legend.

Modern design of later President of France, Charles de Gaulle as a young Lieutenant during WW1. French army blocked the German invasion for some time at the river Meuse and Lt de Gaulle was wounded at the hand during these operations. I was surprised to learn about his presence in Dinant thanks to the monument. It is modern design and the more one looks at it, the more details one can detect of the de Gaulle authentic looks. Well done, informative, modern art to be accepted and respected.
