This is a very wonderful restored castle with amazing history and full of information, especially if you take the tour with an audio guide (early to download on your iPhone). There are many stairs but otherwise it's an easy tour that takes about 2 hours to complete. There is a gift shop and a nice cafe as well, which are attached to the very informative visitor center. Highly recommend - it has views of the quaint city below.

We were surprised to find this medieval castle in Useldange. The rooms are well prepared and have descriptions in several languages , including English. You can climb a tower and have a beautiful view. The review below also gives an excellent atmosphere to the whole location.

Interesting visit. Restoring wonderfully done with respect for the ancient parts of the building. The friendly service and nice refreshments are very welcome after a climb by foot from the valley. However also reachable by vehicle using the main road. The inside visit costs 7 euro, which is absolutely acceptable considering the work they've done to the former ruins. Chapeaux!

The exhibition of over 500 photos from around the world tell the story of how we are all human. Would strongly recommend a trip here.

In the 13th century the lords of Wiltz looked for a suitable place for their residence, as their fortress in the valley didn't provide enough safety. They built a fort on a cliff, which explains the emergence of the district called "Oberwiltz". The count Jan VI., during the glory of the county of Wiltz, finally laid the foundation for today's castle.
