Dhërmi (Greek: Δρυμάδες, Drymades) is a village in Vlorë County, Albania. It is part of the municipality Himarë. The village lies 42 kilometers south of the city of Vlorë and about the same distance north of the southern city of Sarandë. The village is built on a slope of the Ceraunian Mountains at approximately 200 meters in altitude. It comprises three neighborhoods: Gjilek, Kondraq (also known as Kallam), and Dhërmi itself. The mountains descend to the southwest into the Ionian coast and Corfu in the distance to the south. Nearby is the village of Palasë. The inhabitants of Dhërmi speak a variant of the Himariote dialect, characterized by archaic features not retained in standard Greek. Recently, the coastal area has seen a boom in the construction of accommodation facilities, such as wooden villa complexes. In addition, it is considered by the Albanian youth as a nightlife destination.

This tour is a must do. We altered between mountains and coastlines with a variety of great things to do in between. Our guide Loren was beyond incredible. His professionalism and knowledge are above average. Our accommodations were more than we expected and the food options were amazing. We walked, we hiked, we learned and we paraglided. 7. Night tours of the South
This tour is more likely supposed to be embraced by millennials and people with an active lifestyle. We do not take responsibility for those expecting something ‘not wild’. This tour will be filled with loud places, alcohol and nighttime staying awake, with lots of chance that during the tour the cellphones will be turned off. We also are not mentioning the WONDERFUL VIEWS of the Albanian coastline that will be granted to us.

I want to thank Leo and Get Lost in Albania for giving me such a wonderful day first in Kruja (castle) and then in Shkodra lake, peacefull place full of beauty with the mountains in the background. I ate the lake fish specialty, don’t miss out such a delicacy ! Leo told me so much about this beautiful country, it’s history and way of living. That will remain a memorable trip.

History buff hubby and I booked a custom tour. Our guide was amazing. She stuck through us making long videos, hiking, long drives and rain. She was so interested in history and really helped with information for his history videos. We went to gjorkastra, Antigonea and the thermal baths all in one day. With my husband's love for history this probably needed two days. However our guide was always enthusiastic and a real trooper. The driver drove flawlessly though heavy rain and dark. Not to mention lunch/dinner at a local spot was fantastic. I'd highly recommend the guides are fun and professional. This is the second time we've used this company. We travelled with a group of 7. Albania is such a beautiful country and Genci has an exceptional knowlede of all the beauty spots. Food was amazing - breakfast and lunch included (we mostly let Genci do the choosing :) ) and usually did not need dinner as lunch is the main meal. This tour and tour guide is highly reccomended - Genci was great, very friendly and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed!
