Muktinath is an Exotic Pilgrimage location for the Hindus and Buddhist . Most Important it is well connected from the main city of Kathmandu . The Best and new thing I liked was it is managed by Buddhist Nuns who look calm and composed on face and the spiritual aura of Kali Gandaki river .

This place is just magnificent. The roads to here is very hard and tough, but anything that is this beautiful deserves some hard work. The views through out the way is amazing. Hotels are all family owned so be ready to adjust if you go in a peak season.

The Jomsom Muktinath trek traces the trail from Pokhara all the way to Kali Gandhaki valley with Muktinath the pilgrimage site as the end point of the trek. Along this trail you will enjoy the natural splendors as well as the unique culture of the Jomsom region. The Jomsom Muktinath trek provides the double pleasures for the trekkers to view of two great Himalayan ranges, the Annapurna and the Dhaulagiri range. This trek offers the availability of lodges and the easy access to the highland region of the Himalayas within a limited time frame.
Must visit place if you can get there! You will need stamina, a good endurance to high elevation and plenty of water!
