Chaddesden Wood Local Nature Reserve

Reviewed By TeamWard - Nottingham, United Kingdom

In these challenging times its worth finding different places to have walk to or through, the Oakwood / Chaddesden Wood Nature Reserve is well worth a stoll through, gets busy with children on Easter egg hunts, dog walkers, but with the bluebells arriving is marvellous.

Derby Speakers Corner

Reviewed By ragiansanti34 - Staffordshire, United Kingdom

Free speech is essential in any civilised society. Speakers Corner is an area that is set aside to encourage free speech, debate, and discussion. People can express themselves through speaking or singing. It is located in the Derby Market Place. Artist Timothy Clapcott crafted ceramic heads of famous speakers that are hung on the wall. They all have QR (Quick Response) codes to access additional information on the represented members. There is a knee high wall in front of the designated area and a waterfall behind. It's a great area for personal expression, growth, and community interaction.
