But exactly what is a whiskey house? To us it’s a place dedicated to whiskey, a temple of sorts, a place to come and explore your passion for whiskey. Make no mistake about it, Laws Whiskey House is a distillery, but more than that it is where we can educate and share everything we know and love about whiskey.

I think I've said it all in the title. Getting there from Denver area is a scenic drive in itself. The grove is amazing. Goats can be seen. It is awesome.

This high-altitude scenic drive climbs more than 7,000 feet in just 28 miles, reaching an altitude of 14,264 feet.
The climb up was exceptional. Beautiful views, lots of wildlife, wildflowers everywhere, and a great stop at the historic Echo Lake Lodge all made for a wonderful experience.

A ton of fun! Our tour guide David gave an in-depth overview into the distillation process of Stranahan’s single malt whiskey as well as the history of the brand. We also learned about bottling and how the barrels are made. We were provided three different tastings and you get to keep the free tasting glass as well as a nice discount on bottles you purchase at the distillery. I would highly recommend if you are a whiskey lover!

Short for Lower Downtown, this 29-block section of trendy bars, restaurants and shops also contains preserved buildings from the city's original settlement.
Love the artsy vibe in LoDo. Dairy Block was one of my favorites and is such a fun part of the city to walk around in.

This antique-filled Victorian house was the home of Molly Brown, not only a famous survivor of the Titanic, but so much more. Entry to the Museum has changed in light of COVID-19. In order to protect our guests, volunteers, and staff all guests are now required to purchase tickets online before arriving at the Museum. Guests will be allowed to enter the Museum for a self-guided tour every 20 minutes with no more than 6 people per entry time.
If you are interested in gaining history about one of Denver's most famous citizens, the Molly Brown House Museum should be on your list of sightseeing while in Denver! I had a couple of hours to spare in the middle of the day, while in town for a conference. I was able to walk over to the Molly Brown House Museum from my hotel on 16th Street with ease. Once arriving, the tour guide, Suzette, was amazing. She was so knowledgeable about Margaret "Molly" and JJ Brown, their family, and what brought them to Denver. Additionally, the restoration of the home is absolutely AMAZING! To see how the Browns lived all those years ago, how fascinating. This is definitely a tour to not miss. Make sure you stop by the gift shop for some unique souvenirs including special Harney & Sons tea that is make specifically for the Molly Brown House Museum and a bookmark which is a replica of the impressive stain glass windows that are found inside the house.

A key feature in the Denver skyline because of its gold bell-shaped dome, the Capitol Building, fittingly in the Mile High City, has a point located at exactly 5,280 feet above sea level. Free tours are available for visitors.
A beautiful capital building that has an official marker when you cross the 1 mile mark at 5,280 Feet above sea level. The marking is etched into the 13th step riser of the main stairway. Great view of Denver's Courthouse and the foothills of the Rockies.

Adventure Awaits! Every day, Denver Zoo seeks to inspire exploration and discovery, and creates connections with people, animals and nature. And every day, we’re working to save animals and conserve wildlife here and around the world. Your visit and support aids in all these efforts- Thank you. Home to 4,100 animals, representing more than 600 species, Denver Zoo is committed to species conservation by bringing science education to life and providing extraordinary experiences that foster human and animal connections. It is the most visited cultural destination in Colorado, serving 2 million people per year. Located in Denver’s City Park, the Zoo is a nonprofit organization accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), which assures the highest standards of animal care. With the mission to secure a better world for animals through human understanding, Denver Zoo dedicates more than $2 million annually to zoo-led programs aimed at protecting animals within their natural habitats around the world.
This review is mainly for the Holiday Zoo lights as this was my first and only time visiting the Denver Zoo. There are so many beautiful, creative light displays covering the entire zoo. There are also a limited amount of animals on display; I especially enjoyed the giraffes. The grounds were easy to walk and the layout was a loop that ensured that you didn't miss anything. There are a few bathrooms and concession strands throughout the zoo, so you don't have to back track or run around looking for one. The concession tents offered hot chocolate and cider(with the option to spike with holiday spirits), pretzels, churros funnel cake and a few adult beverages(including Rosé in a can). This event sells out quickly every night and the parking lot is usually full, so I recommend taking Uber or Lyft. It's a fun time for all ages and I highly recommended to everyone.... just make sure you bundle up!

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is the Rocky Mountain region’s leading resource for informal science education. A variety of exhibitions, programs, and activities help Museum visitors experience the natural wonders of Colorado, Earth, and the universe.
The traveling and main exhibitions are world class. A decent cafe, revelant and interesting exhibits, plus all the time-honored enjoyment of gems and minerals, wildlife dioramas and dinosaur bones makes a fantastic couple of days.
