This show is about Barong dance and Keris (or Kris) knife shows, you must read the guidance given to understand and appreciate the show. I think many bad reviews were given because they didn’t read the guidance or left before the shows ends or having the wrong expectations. Bali has many types of dance and Barong dance is definitely not the same with Kecak or other type of dance. The monkey character was actually very entertaining, adding comedy factor to the show. It’s definitely a show that must not be missed while in Bali.
